Player frame status text bugged after reset

After the reset my status text won’t show on my player frame. I’ve tried turning it on and off and nothing happened. Anyone else having this problem?

glad I’m not alone, wonder if there’s a way to fix this?

Not sure. Ive tried delete cache folder, wtf folder, loading in with no addons… even tried downloading a few different unitframe addons and messing with said addons custom status text options, but still came up short :frowning:

I have the same problem, I have tried setting the status to none… fully logging out then back in and that did not work. I removed all addons, that did not work. I renamed my WTF folder so it would make a new one… that did not work. I honestly feel that is all I could do on my end. I hope this helps them and they look into this. I need to see values on my player frames, hopefully before I need to raid tonight. Ty =)

temp fix

/run SetTextStatusBarText(PlayerFrameManaBar, PlayerFrameManaBarText) SetTextStatusBarText(PlayerFrameHealthBar, PlayerFrameHealthBarText)

Only works on runic power bar for me.

Same here, At one point it randomly started working again and then I loaded an addon and then my portrait went blank again. I immediately turned off that said add-on and my portrait is staying blank!!! Any updates to this fix?

Temp fix above works for me–run the script then change your status text setting. Have to redo every reload

Thank you, works until you log out. I made a macro though so this will do for now

There was the inconvenience of having to apply it every time it was loaded, so we created Weak Aura, which automatically solves the problem.
