Basically what I’m feeling. Endgame is just a skinner box of getting A, B, C, and D. I started to realize after my years of playing mmos, I actually enjoy the journey more than the destination. It’s to the point that I had some love for leveling alts through content I didn’t play before. The only downside is that leveling is faster so you outpace content of a zone quickly.
Definitely, I am nearly ilvl 610 on my main with tier 11 delves unlocked. One alt is 601 and the other is 584.
If I had to try and get there via M+, I probably would have left WoW and started playing on Steam again.
I agree. I’m in the same headspace. I enjoy the journey not the destination. Classic level grind was amazing. It felt like a real achievement to level and get new abilities and grow stronger. Opening up new zones to explore. With current leveling everything scales so you can go anywhere and fight anything. No sense of accomplishment, just a roadblock to endgame and endgame is just a series of random activities that are disjointed and instanced.
The people who keep posting that the presence of casuals is ruining their fun.
This is me
Mists is super fun.
The First Descendant has substantially better graphics than WoW, and you can clearly see that even on my 2K monitor.
Sure, WoW will look nicer on a 4K OLED, but then, so will TFD. In fact, so will almost anything.
But playing the game on a 4K OLED will not make it look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFBCQs_dYcM
That’s because this season (and last - Dragonflight Season 4) a +10 key is equivalent to a +20 key from all previous seasons.
“No one”? I like being able to filter out players based on criteria other than just item level.
Make your own group? Play with friends?? Join a guild???
You shouldve seen Dragoon rotation in FF14. Dream Weaver they call it. Weaven 10,000 cuts
This season M+ is the worst M+ season i ever saw in the history of Wow, not only the selection of dungeons are the worst possible (Who thought of bringing Mists back?) but Challenger’s Peril is a pug killer of an affix, 1 wipe and people quit, key is bricked, over.
All that to upgrade Hero gear
If they leave, that’s okay. I’ll stay
This.
Mythic raiding and Mythic +9 isn’t a matter of “git gud” anymore… it’s literally: “git a contract with a professional gaming team, because if you can do them, you might as well go pro.”
4 of my 5 friends that I started playing with have already quit and 90% of my guild only plays Tues/Wed which is raid night.
The game just sucks, look how many class nerfs they have done since the expansion came out. They clearly don’t actually test anything. And for some strange reason they are going to do a huge overhaul of all the classes again in November ? It makes no sense unless you realize that they don’t actually test anything anymore before putting it out. They get us to pay to play the game AND test it for them.
