I think it’s really cool that you put all that work into this concept. But I’m gonna have to stop you right here and say that bringing the “races” of the afterlife zones into the living world is a bad idea IMHO.
I’m all for making all classes available to all races and adding additional customization options on existing races for more options and RP: Humans and Kul Tirans getting all 3 body shapes, San’Lyn options for Night Elf and Nightborne, Human models for Forsaken, Frost/Gurubashi/etc options for Trolls.
How for instance would a non-Manari Draenei/LF Warlock make sense for instance? Their whole identity as a race is their noble resistance of the Legion and the forgoing of Fel.
Void Elf DH has even worse in-universe implications as even regular Demon Hunters under the wrong conditions explode from within as seen with the metamorphosis quest in Mardum.
Meanwhile there is NO in-game hard rule forbidding the Shadowlands denizens from leaving the Shadowlands, and we do see several do so (Nathrezim, Mawsworn armors, Draka briefly in her cinematic, etc).
I don’t disagree that these interactions (also, Tauren Mages, Mag’har Warlocks, Goblin Druids, etc) can be bad/incompatible from a lore perspective, but I would allow players that know and care about the lore to make those decisions. I also like the idea of letting players come up with their own head cannon about what horrible tragedy led their Draenei to make the paradigm-shifting decision to consume a demon and become a Demon Hunter.
I think keeping the denizens of the afterlife in the afterlife is a good idea in my humble opinion.
I respect your opinion, but disagree in thinking it’s a bad idea. I don’t see why we can’t have all the options. Shadowlands races can leave the realm, it’s just a matter of making them accessible to players with some tweaking.
That one they have changed like three times now. I think currently some are Odin’s Val’kyr who rebelled but didn’t go with Helya, some are the scourge ones but only more recently and some are Kyrians who have been away a long time.
