WOTLK Battlegrounds have been a joke for over a year now, with countless bots and people who don’t speak english also botting. Clearly dev’s don’t even play their own game cause there are tons of bugs/problems with wotlk bgs. good job.

Stacked rows of them in every BG now. If you play AV after midnight, it’s basically bot hour.

This is indeed a shame, even if it is the enemy at a disadvantage.
100% THIS. Theres always been a botting problem in WOTLK classic but it has gotten so bad that it’s basically unplayable. Had an IOC last night where we had 20 BOTS ON MY TEAM LMAO. They were all bot paladins with 9k hp that ressed up, ran out in a straight line, got oneshot, rinse and repeat. At the end of the game, a few players on the enemy team had 60-70 KBs each.
You are guaranteed to at least see 2-3 bots in every single game, either on your team or the other team. I report them and I get report notifications in my mailbox almost every day but it doesn’t seem to do anything. There needs to be a massive ban wave or smth cuz this is just so boring

While I completely agree that Wrath has a botting issue, are you sure it got worse? Many dads just play like bots

It is markedly worse than I have ever seen it. Reports of straight lines of bots just running to the same spot to get killed over and over in the same way is 100% accurate. I’ve seen bots, but I’ve never thought before that there are more bots than players. As of right now though, at least in BGs…there are CLEARLY more bots than players.

It’s one thing when you just have bad players on your team, it’s another when nearly every single game, you get a few players with sub 2k gearscore, randomized letter names with 20 unspent talent points that do nothing but walk in a straight line to the enemy, die, rinse and repeat. you try to talk to them and they say nothing. 100% botting

I was going to ask the same question. Why is someone rolling in lines of bots to just get killed? What is the idea behind that.
Wow – that seems totally sad and pathetic on whomever is doing that.
I mean, that’s what I assume it’s for. It’s why so many people botted using honorbuddy etc. back in WoD to gear up alts quickly. Either way, it’s pretty much impossible now to play a BG without seeing at least one bot in the game so yea pretty sad.
I’ve only seen one bot (that was going psyco on a mining node) but I don’t play BG’s at all. Once and it was a horrid experience.
It took Blizzard literally several expansions before the gold sellers and gold spammers were finally eradicated to a point where they could barely get one in-game spam mail off every few months. It used to be much worse.
Bots have never been this much of an issue until Classic servers popped up.
The road leads to Cataclysm so hardly no one cares anymore, assuming they ever did - and that’s a big if.
Its over. Get your Kingslayer title and pretend the credits rolled or something.
Guy we’re talking about pvp. Idk who you’re talking to but for a lot of us BG / Arena players, WOTLK / Cata / MoP is the golden age of pvp lmao. Nobody here cares about getting a kingslayer title, we just don’t want BGs ruined by the cesspool of bots.

I’ve left 6/6 wsg and just do dungeons while waiting for deserter, everyones been 4-7 bots. Daily is a dream. Ngl my interest in playing is diminishing quickly.

Heaven forbid you learn another language. If they are botting they aren’t speaking the language that you don’t understand.
I’m sure they do (from time to time) and also take notes. One pissy pants poo poo poster crying about crap in general discussion isn’t going to do a damn thing. Report said botters and enjoy your time.
they leech honor to buy epic gems & sell on AH, a bot in bg’s 24/7 even if it’s losing every bg will still get thousands of gold daily which translate to $$
true but recently bots are running rampant as they’re not trying to deceive players, check this for example in one of my random bg’s today…

a bot running without weapons never mounting, never attacking, never responding & the funny thing is…there was 3x character in same bg’s just like him! 100%bots.
and it’s not rare to encounter bots…every single bg have at least +2 obvious bots.
