Yeah, sure thing, champ.
Says the one hiding on their alt with account wide cheevos off.
My feeling was right from the start of cross-faction play that the only reason they were doing it was so Alliance players who were having trouble getting into raids and mythic+ dungeons would be able to continue playing rather than quit. They never wanted it to benefit the general player population.
I want to be able to walk up to a dungeon and be able to group with anyone waiting there. I want to be able to group with a member of the other faction doing harder world content if weâre the only ones there.
You would be right. This was only to keep the hardcores addicted.
Thereâs isnât an âendless poolâ Horde-side.
In fact, I know plenty of Alliance Mythic raiding guilds who flipped Horde because they bought into the âgrass is greenerâ garbage, and then ended up doing even worse in terms of progression once they were Horde.
Alliance scum will not steal my guild gold!!
Your right.
The goblins will.
Come get your hug, Orcs
oh come on⊠make them non faction specific, not tied to the GM and guildies should not be marked unfriendly in the rest of the game outside dungeons.
Honestly kind of disappointing that you need to be a bnet friend/in the same community with the person giving you the ginvite, and itâs still incredibly restricted.
okay question here, say you have a guild on both alliance and horde, does this mean i could combine them? or does it mean i can just invite from the other faction?
Something else that would be amazing would if Blizzard had instanced content for 6-9 characters. Right now if you 6 or 7 people wanting to do stuff. You have to pick and choose who goes and who doesnât. 8 or 9 and the only thing you can do is run a raid in which you are severely restricted, or course you can can do legacy content but then most of the time you can solo that content yourself.
Inviting people from the other faction shouldnât require them to be Battle.net friends.
However, once you get one person from the other faction to join, in theory⊠that person could just normally be inviting people (from their faction) to the guild.
Itâs not the end of the world, but this could have been more smoothly implemented from the start. Hopefully they make good changes as we go. This system shouldnât have so many barriers!
To be redundant to others statements here - this is more of the same. As it reads right now, this is Communities 2.0, only now you can talk in green text, & have guild repairs & guild âperksâ. I do hope this is just the start of more things to be added to this, but this âupdateâ on how this is going to work is word vomit.
This is poorly implemented Blizzard would have been better off not doing it.
Dang the active player count has shrunk that low huh?
Iâm just hoping my own cross-faction alts are able to apply to and join my personal guild.
I will be disappointed if not.
If thatâs not the case then it will be useless to me.
I knew you were going to screw this up somehow.
So how do we get cross faction alts into our bank guilds?
