So I’m working through the achivements for “Love is in the air” and I’m wondering about the wintergrasp and arena versions. These zones are accessible all the time and activate every 3 hours. Do I need to do this when it is active or can I do it any time?
The world version of wintergrasp works and you can do it whenever. And the arena one is the gurubashi arena in stv, not an actual arena map. Just make sure you are in the pit for that one, not on the upper sides.

I am not a pvper, so I dont know how it works. How do I get the arena basin fool in Wotlk Classic? Can I just walk in like I Gurubashi Arena?

Yeah, its a physical place in game and only accessible in open world
You have to join the battleground for this one and get to the blacksmith area. Then place your fool and pity it (before you get clapped).
