No drow, we already have enough elves. Also no new race or class to begin with, although we will unlock an allied race later in the expansion which is a subspecies of Aqir.
WoW cant do “water based content” because we get the nightmare that was nash’jir.

Hello, I see you posted a thread about pirates. Haha, this would be funny considering FF14s next expansion, Dawntrail, is using quite a few pirate themes, including that one of the new jobs is mostly likely going to be Corsair!

Saw that and had much the same reaction. A long ‘meh’. I think pirate adventure seems far cooler to some people than others. And its been a long time since Pirates of the Caribbean was relevant… ^^
I have zero interest so if its the case ill probably unsub until thwy do something not ao boring.
Not likely. People hate the caves in DF why would they do an entire xpac that way . It would be worse than pirates.
If you go by history its pirates no because of some dumb event either.
naaaaw, they hate one cave, and the reasons they hate it have little to do with it being a cave. Though it would be simple enough to have diverse and varied underground environments with significantly higher ceilings than the one cave we have now (or no ceiling and a pretty normal skybox, like the cave we had in cataclysm)
One piece came out, pirates are popular this month. Blizzard is playing into the trend. Thats it.
Stop trying to read content decisions into the traders post, it is just a marketing tool with no purpose other than maintaining subs. Blizz is likely to start riding every significant pop culture IP that even remotely fits into WoW lore.

I don’t care about the theme, I just want the game to keep going in the direction it’s headed.

The only hope WoW has…

Calm down there’s no pirate expansion coming. Also, pirates are god awful boring and I feel that even blizzard, with their long history of poor decision making, knows that most players prolly don’t want a pirate expansion.

What if its void infused pirates and we need the light to get em’ out? everyone wins. The big question is wether it’ll be cosmic void or the old-god Black Empire void. I vote Black Empire void with cosmic void here and there “infiltrating” the party. It’s too early for cosmic void dominance imo.
Arthas is dead and gone. What WoW needs is a new LK. “X” infiltrates the Maw and creates a new set of armor, or whatever. The scourge is technically uncontrolled and rampant atm. So many raids have such good substance to them aka. SoD, and are left behind - tragic.
