I wouldn’t put it past Blizzard and Pokemon to do a crossover with the existence of pet battles honestly.
Lets say this does happen, then a Pikachu mount could work as an achievement thing of doing x amount of battles for Pokemon related pet battles.
Kinda like how farming Rathalos’s scales in FFXIV earns you Rathalos as a mount.

Pikachu is the type of dude to have their entire life handed to them on a silver platter and never worked for anything in their entire life, just expect everyone to worship them and give them whatever they want. Pikachu doesn’t even care about the community they grew up in since they never even bothered to try to meet people there or even try to build connections since they were far too busy living in their McMansion and were just handed everything in life, big whoops their dad is the CEO so they get everything they could ever want and had an entire career made for them where they do no work and make 30x more than anyone else at the company. Pikachu cares about no one but themselves and expects everyone to do everything else for them.
Raichu is the working mans pokeman. Raichu is the type of guy who works his 9-5 every day and doesn’t complain cuz he knows the work needs to be done. Sure he would have enjoyed some of the success Pikachu was given but Raichu had to work for everything they’ve ever gotten in life so they know the value of a days work and the rewards they get for doing the job the right way. Raichu is the type of pokemon who works on making the community they grew up in better instead of just abandoning where they grew up in because it wasn’t that great of a place, Raichu would rather see the foundations of success be built up so other people could succeed as well.
