That’s THE MOVE BABY!!
As a healer, I find the crit reduction change to be really nice. The cc changes not so much. I dont really find myself losing from mop levels of cc been thrown at me tbh, rather just huge damage constantly going out with micro cc.
I can understand why rogues are peeved about the blind nerf and kick nerf, but truthfully if they reduced the crit modifier and left it at that to see how itd pan out I’d be keen for that.
That said, for the most part cc will be the same no? With the 20% modifier removed
Also scrap the rdruid nerfs pls ty
World of Roguecraft said everything that ever needed to be said 18 years ago. Nothing worth saying has ever been said since. The rogue discourse will never change.
It’s also one of a far greater number of tools that hunters have for control. And isn’t your pet the source of it, giving it effectively like a 100 yard range / able to be used even when you are not in line of sight? I haven’t played that much hunter for a while so I’m a bit foggy on the details and just going off wowhead.
I long for the days before people looked to content creators for opinions.
Not even close
IMO he’s wrong this is a good change.
Ya hunters are supposed to have more control the warriors.
That’s obvious.
then why you whining about a longer cooldown?
Because consistency should matter. A stun with half the cd of mine shouldn’t be the same duration, especially considering it’s lower duration currently.
okay. increase stormbolt cooldown / reduce duration, but make it usable out of line of sight with a 100 yard range. Consistency achieved.
Really though, as much as you might love the idea of completely homogenizing all abilities in this game, you have a poor understanding of how the tools are actually designed. You can’t compare their durations or cooldowns 1:1 because they function so differently. There are unique advantages and disadvantages to both stuns.
Even if the stuns functioned completely the same, a stun with half the cooldown and the same duration as your stun can be completely fine, because they don’t exist independent of the rest of their kits.
Sure if you had a pet that required its LOS for the stun. If you’re going to try and to be a smart a**, at least get the smart part correct.
What I’m proposing is less homogenizing lol.
Yea, hunters kit should be more about cc then warriors…
The bottom line is this streamer can no longer run in easy mode as a rogue. RMx will no longer be the meta.
The changes had to be made. CC is out of control
Like I said, advantages and disadvantages. Having a pet as a proxy source of utility isn’t better or worse. It’s just unique.
What exactly is the implication then?
Which it is. And as previously stated, you have more control abilities than warriors. So what is the problem?
You don’t read good do you?
No seriously. State what you mean as plainly as possible. Exactly what do you feel should be changed?
5 sec stuns should be knocked down to 4 sec, just as 4 sec stuns should be knocked down to 3 sec. Consistency in the sweeping changes to see how things feel, then make additional changes afterwards. If two abilities are similar, stormbolt and intimidation both being ranged stuns, then they should get similar changes. One being half the cd and taking half the duration nerf is not consistent at all.
Then don’t stun in your own DR? Wtf?
I’ve seen people suggest on Twitter that CCs are their usual length, but they fully DR after 2 (instead of 3) and the DR time period is increased.
Nah… People CC the last DR very rarely anyway.
This would be a strong CC buff imho.
I think the only stuns they needed to nerf were kidney, stormbolt (remove it and give charge stun back) and dh cc. Everything else is fine.
In RSS, the triple DRed CC is one of those microCCs that makes healers’ lives miserable.
