I bet you’re real fun at parties with that attitude.
Definitely bard.
Bard obv, that way we can have some dude in Stormwind playing meme songs all day.
Because Every class in this game is inspired by Warcraft 3.
That’s why people want more classes that are from Warcraft 3.
The game is called “World of Warcraft”
Same. Necromancer is basically Unholy DK with a wand instead of a sword, and Bards don’t even exist in the WoW universe.
Tinkers, hands down.
dark ranger has been given uniqueness through sylvanas. i laid out in my post the abilities they could use.
there’s more, life draining arrows, short term skeletal minions, etc.
Or we could get a class that’s actually new and doesn’t tread on existing themes and existing abilities from existing classes.
tinker fits that, but it’s mundane.
necromancy will always be one of the coolest aspects of wow. no matter the form it takes.
and for bards… we don’t need whimsical BS like a bard. wow’s enough of a joke as it is.
Out of those three choices, I’d like to see Tinker. Make it a ranged dps/ranged tank/healer class.
That said, I don’t think any of them will ever happen. Tinkers step heavily on engineer’s toes, to the point that Tinkers would almost have to be engineers or engineers would lose a lot of their craftables. Dark Rangers are just edgelord hunters. And bards just don’t exist in the game in any sort of prevalence to build a class around. I can count on one hand the number of inns/taverns that I know about that have some sort of performer in them. You’d need to have an entire expansion dedicated to establishing them.
As for necromancers, setting aside how much they step on DK’s toes, I think their time has passed. I mean, we’re going to the land of the dead in the next xpac. When would the best time to have been to introduce a necromancer class? I suppose an argument could be made for the expansion after Shadowlands, because “we learned so much about the dead,” but that’s a pretty big reach.
I’ll take DR please/thanks, but anything other than tinker there is already too much steam punk in this game
So you think it’s not good. because your opinion?
I Don’t think it’s mundane, I think it’s awesome. See how easy that is?
We have a Necromancer. we have an entire spec that Raises the Dead, and empowers a bunch of minions at once
Tinker, please!
DK is no more of a necromancer than you are a warlock, or a paladin is a priest.
we could have dark ranger, even if necromancer was added as well. because the banshee elements separate it from either dk or necromancer.
But OMG, now I totally want it to be! I vote Death Metal Bard! Please?
If not: I’d want a tinker. I think there’s so much creative space there (far beyond simple engineering.) The toys, the weapons, the mechanized suits.
I think a Bard has creative room, too. Think less Mariachi and more Scoundrel – a dual-pistol wielding adventurer surviving on wit and charisma. And magic. And, um. Pistols. (Two of them.)
I’d pass on a Dark Ranger. I already had to pass on the whole Demon Hunter emo-vibe. A Dark Ranger class = double the yarp.
Just one dwarf’s opinion.
Carry on, and good luck.
Tinkerer makes the most sense. Bards and dark rangers are just hunters.
Excellent observation, Captain.
Tinker is what inspired engineering as a trade skill in WoW. It’s not a class we need to see in the game because of that. If your statement is anything to go by, Priest should be able to Spec Dark Ranger, not Shadow.
Lol are you serious?
Dk’s can use Skeletons Warriors, Skeleton Archers, Skeleton Mages, Zombies, Ghouls, Gargoyles and abominations. All at the same time.
You literally have abilities that give your minions attack speed to do even more damage, you have a button labled Army of the dead
If you don’t think DK is a Necromancer, I don’t think you should be suggesting classes.
Yes, and it’s not loyal to its warcraft 3 incarnation at all. It literally doesn’t have a single one of their abilities.
So you’re wrong.
The difference is that Priest has dark ranger’s abilities. Engineering does not have Tinker’s abilities.
they use necromantic abilities. that doesn’t make them a necromancer.
it’s like a battle-mage vs. a mage. they both perform different roles using the same magic. or like a demon hunter and a warlock.
No, They don’t just use Necromantic Abilities.
They literally summon an army of pets to do damage with them. That’s a Necromancer through and through. It’s just not named Necromancer.
We don’t have a class that uses mechs or turrets though.
Out of the selection I’d have to go with Tinker. A Bard class appeals to me about as much as rolling a DH (personal opinion). Your description of a Dark Ranger (and it is kind of hard to come up with something else) is largely a grab from many other classes. I think DH did this to locks. At least the other two are something new and fresh.
