Middle of day and tons of rares with nobody to kill them - #53 by Quenya-shadow-council K
they kneecapped demo for our own good. they got rid of that gross meta and shoved it onto the DHs where it actually belonged. demo has been MUCH more fun since it went full imp mother, imo.
Showing respect means you admire a person even if you disagree with them. I think the word respect has lost its meaning just like the word literally doesn’t actually mean what it used to mean tbh
Yes, they were working out a contract agreement with Mephistopheles…
HAHAHAHA, treat gamers with respect and ill think about it.
I realize why they did it, but it was a poor solution. Then everyone who actually enjoys the class was then up the river while the class is useless until they came up with a fix.
You shouldn’t just make an entire section of player characters useless out of the blue, its a huge disrespect to the time and comfort of your player base.
While that maybe true, there are still lines that shouldn’t be crossed. Some developers have received death threats, are constantly being told they should be fired because a player is angry their playstyle isn’t being catered to, among other things.
If someone is unhappy with how a game is being developed, there is a proper way to offer criticism, and a wrong way. The wrong way is the normal tactic used in GD.
While respect is earned, treating other humans as though they are humans is always a good thing to promote.

I think he’s right…
In the cases where developers treat gamers with respect and consideration as in:
Don’t lie.
Don’t gaslight.
When you make a mistake, own it, explain and apologize.
And most of all, be polite in words, tone and spirit.
And I love his idea of expanding the banned bad actors from his on-line platform to other Microsoft companies.
Everyone deserves respect.
That doesn’t, however, make them impervious to critiques and complaints that they’re actively ignoring player feedback and doing what they want.
Programmers know they’re codemonkies, don’t make this more complicated than it needs to be, Phil.
No they don’t especially not you. You don’t deserve my respect as you have not earned it
You should treat everybody with dignity and respect even if they quote" ruined the story" ruin PVP or whatever.
I say that because this is a video game and we are all humans just trying to get through life
i talked with maizou a bit off on on a while ago pre-legendary text in helf threads i think. they’re a decent enough person. what is your issue with them?
At the same time, it wouldn’t hurt some players to acknowledge that the devs don’t have to agree with them. Listening and agreeing with are after all not the same.
I don’t have a problem with them. But this statement that someone deserves respect When I don’t know them is false. I don’t owe you respect I owe you being polite but I don’t need to give you respect. Again the definition has been muddled a bit
i was raised to treat everyone with respect and even if they show they don’t deserve it that you should still be polite. this verbally violent echo chamber thing going on on the forums is so weird to me because… like… how do think it’s okay to threaten to harm someone physically or tell them to hurt THEMSELVES because you don’t like something trivial they’ve done? and there’s been posters since there’s been forums that have done exactly that.
Your treating someone with manners not respect. Respect means you hold highly for someone despite your differences
After the Arthas bs Blizz just pulled? They’re going to have to retcon everything before I even consider them close to approaching above slime pool spawn at this point.
idc what Spencer, or anyone else, has to say about the matter. So mad. (Yeah, Imma rant about this forever now).
I always wonder when I see these sorts of claims about ‘death threats’ online if actual death is really being threatened or if someone just feels threatened.
