• Heart of Fear (HoF) – Unlocks two weeks later: August 14, 2025
• Terrace of Endless Spring (ToES) – Unlocks four weeks after HoF: September 11, 2025
This would mean that if tier is dropping 2 weeks after the raid release, we will not see all 5 pieces of tier until 9/25.
I doubt that this will be the case. HoF and ToES will most likely launch 2 weeks after MSV Meaning that we will get access to LFR tier from H+ dungeons the week of August 25th.
Why MSV Matters (and Why Guilds Push HoF/ToES)
MSV Is the Warm-Up, Not the Gear Farm – MSV drops only a handful of BiS items; most core upgrades live in HoF and ToES. – Clearing MSV quickly just gets you to the ilvl floor you need for the real bosses.
Tier-Heavy Rewards Drive Progression – HoF/ToES gear (ilvl 496 Normal/509 Heroic) vastly outpaces MSV Heroic (ilvl 502) and dungeon drops. – Guilds race through MSV to gear up for the real power-spikes in HoF and ToES.
Staggered Unlocks Preserve Server Health – Spacing raids keeps both raid-ready and dungeon-only players engaged. – If Blizzard instead released HoF/ToES with MSV, you’d see no meaningful progression bump MSV loot would feel pointless, and server queues would fragment.
This is 100% original thoughts backed by facts.
Blizzard stated in a blue post that tier will be put in H+ dungeons 2 weeks after the release of the corresponding raid. (the raid that tier drops in) MSV doesn’t drop any tier.
Since There was 6 weeks between the complete release of all 3 raids MSV, HoF and ToES. This is what it would look like if blizzard followed the same cadence. Which I doubt they will.

Tho since I doubt blizzard will do this so this is what I think it would look like
I straight-up refuse to use AI (LLM) stuff because of it’s dangers to humans generally. It’s already caused actual brain cell death and psychosis in people.
Now you’re a mind reader? Tell me how do you gauge originality over the internet without access to my keyboard, browser tabs, or brainwaves? You some sort of Professor X now, lurking in threads with Cerebro?
This is the classic move: dismiss the argument without engaging the actual content. When the facts hit too clean, blame a tool, blame formatting, blame tone anything to avoid replying with substance. But here’s the truth: AI can’t ghostwrite my experience, pull forum quotes from memory, or stack raid data from logs I parsed myself. What you’re calling “AI assisted” is just well-structured. If your bar for “original” is typos and rambling, maybe it’s time to recalibrate.
Instead of waving the AI flag like it’s some intellectual red alert, how about engaging the argument? Because throwing out “not original” while offering zero counterpoints is just a stealth AFK and unlike GDKP runs, you won’t get loot for showing up and doing nothing.
Based on Blizzard’s current cadence, I’d estimate about 4 months per phase feels realistic it fits both the pacing of Classic and the tier lifespan we’ve seen historically.
Here’s a rough projection if they follow that:
Raid Tier
Estimated Release
Throne of Thunder
~January 2026
Siege of Orgrimmar
~May 2026
WoD Pre-Patch
~October 2026
WoD Launch
~November 2026
That gives enough breathing room for gearing, progression, and alt catch-up without burning out players. It also mirrors the original MoP’s arc, where ToT dropped mid-expansion and SoO carried the tail end.
Of course, Blizzard might shift based on raid completion data or engagement metrics but unless they accelerate phases dramatically, 4 months per tier seems the healthiest trajectory.
With a phase in raids in p1 i would expect p1 to last slightly longer maybe feb early march timeframe with the small phase 2 coming out late october early november.
I’m speculating that HoF and ToES will release 2 weeks after MSV. The only reason for this is because there is the 2-week gap for tier dropping in H+ dungeons so that would give us LFR tier 6 weeks into P1.
Yeah i saw that. If based on there timeline with endless spring releasing sept 11 that would tto me be the offical start of the phase as all content for the phase is released except the celestial part.
If based on your alternate timeline where HoF and endless spring are released aug 14 that would be the start of the phase.
There is also the TBC release for anniversary to take into consideration and midnight release for retail as blizz tries to avoid double content drops.
Yeah, Blizzard said MoP Classic would move faster but delaying ToES by six weeks after MSV? That’s going to hurt. Stretching Phase 1 that long risks player burnout and weakens momentum.
And it’s not like we haven’t seen this before:
Cataclysm Classic Phase 1 launched on May 30 (BWD, ToTW, BWL)
Firelands (Phase 2) dropped on November 7
That’s a gap of 161 days or 5 months and 9 days
It dragged out the tier and drained player interest.
So yeah, I wouldn’t be shocked if Blizzard repeats that pacing mistake but they really shouldn’t.
Where did I ever claim Classic would strictly mirror MoP’s exact rollout?
This post
I noted the official blue post on tier drops in Heroic+ two weeks after raids, mapped the 6-week gap between MSV/HoF/ToES, then explicitly said “which I doubt they will” follow that exactly.

Key points:
I never argued for a verbatim MoP timeline in Classic.
My goal was comparative speculation two side-by-side scenarios guilds could use to plan.
I consistently flagged these as estimates, not promises.
