/petdefensive Not Working for Hunter, Warlock, Mage, & DK for 2 Months

/petdefensive does not work
/petpassive does work

I tried this on a Hunter, Warlock, Mage and DK.

It can only be changed via the UI by clicking.

I submitted a bug report in game weeks ago.

This is an important macro that I use all the time to control my pets, please fix ASAP.

My “/petdefensive” macro stopped working. I use that a lot It does not show an error. It just doesn’t do anything. It used to switch my pet to defensive. The following do work in macros: /petassist /petpassive The syntax that I’ve found for /petdefensive shows a parameter but I can’t find one that will work. If someone can post an example, I would really appreciate it.

This is still broken in the current live game (8.3.7).
It was also reported as a current bug in the Shadowlands Alpha.
When will this be fixed?

Can confirm, this is not working for me either.
It doesn’t throw an error it simply does not have any effect.
Also curious to know when this will be fixed.

Still not working for me. In testing, I noticed when I tried it manually via chat slash command it emoted “You need to be petted”

/petdefensive still does not function, forced me to change all my macros to /petassist which has my pet wandering off to places I don’t want him to go
