Starting on the 11th with patch 8.1, I am not getting pet battle quests that I should be able to get, and am being offered pet battle quests that I should not be able to get.
Example: The weekly pet battle quest that you get in your garrison to battle 5 Draenor Tamers is not available. However, one off quests to battle tamers in Kalimdor and Northrend are.
Sorry for your problem, glad to see it’s not just me. Do me a favor and check the following dailies, these are the ones I can’t get -
Warlords of Draenor - Garrison daily, Ashleigh, Cy Brightblade
Pandaria - Pandarer Water Spirit, Aki the Chosen, Hyuna of the Shrines
Here’s hoping Bliz pays attention to this, as this is a LOT of good pet XP we’re losing every day.
Tamers are back up, woot! However, weekly quests - dungeons, celestial tourney, what we’ve been training for, are still marked completed. Here’s hoping they are reset before Tuesday.
I didn’t try the quests in Pandaria until after those were fixed, but Ashleigh was one that I had not been able to pick up and do. There was at least one patch before I did any of the quests in Pandaria, and by the time I went there, all of those quests were available.
Now it is just the weekly pet battle quests that are missing. The one in the garrison, the pet battle dungeons, etc. Funny thing though, I got the quests to go to the pet battle dungeons all over again, but when I turned those in, no follow up quest was offered to me.
I was planning on doing the Celestial Tourney too. These quests have still not been available as of Sunday, so I doubt they will be up before Tuesday.
Since this post is probably the same bug I was going to report, this is why I experienced.
Varok in Orgrimmar was re-offering me the quest to get a pet to Level 3. He is also offering:
“Zunta, The Pet Tamer”, “Battle Pet Tamers: Kalimdor”.
This despite my character’s current progress being on “Battle Pet Tamers: Cataclysm” afail.
Yup. I got offered those same quests, even though I have already done all of them. I went ahead and did them anyway, since I was not offered some of the quests I am supposed to have available.
Out in Panda Land, my Beasts of Fables has been reset to where I have to kill all the beasts to start getting the 3 daily quests again.
