Skyriding when I have a long distance to go.
Steady flight for everything else.
For general travel I love skyriding. Absolutely love it. That being said, when I’m gathering herbs or ore I usually swap to regular flying so I don’t have to constantly start and stop and build speed and aerial halt every few seconds. For gathering steady flight feels much smoother and more mellow IMO.
Skyriding in general. Steady flight for very specific things like looking for hard-to-find secrets or farming on the go.
Regular flying 100%. The only time I ever use skyriding is if I do a race world quest.

I only use Skyriding.
It’s quick.
By the time you switch to regular riding you could be there already.

I switch based on my personal whims. Some days, I just don’t want to micromanage traveling.
- Steady flight for control.
- Skyriding for distance.

skyriding. i hate being slow. (for instance if i have to walk more than two steps in cow form, i’m going to go cat)
the only time i use regular is if i wanna herb and don’t wanna fight mobs to get to said herb. or i don’t wanna fight stuff to pick up quest items. suuuuuper lazy druid here ha ha
