Regular - physical limitations and I usually play WoW with other things going on that I stop and check out so regular flying is nice for my scattered brain.
I do like skyriding, I just don’t often use it. Maybe only like 10% ish of my play time just to see what I can do with it.
Where we going? Corner store for some snacks and drank? or another state?

Regular flying over 90% of the time.
I really only use the other flying if I am farming those globes for some reason or if I am doing a racing World Quest.

I only sky ride. In fact I use it when I don’t need to when going to dungeons just because it’s fun.

Skyriding.
If you’re trying to get those Weathered orbs for some quick crests, good luck against a Skyrider. Getting those things is downright competitive because they’re not shared.

For the most part skyriding because it’s faster, more efficient. But I wish we could regular fly at the speed of skyriding because the controls are just objectively better.

Pretty much exclusively regular flying. Only time I do skyriding is if I do the world quests that require it, or if I need to go from one end of a zone to the other quickly, but that is very rare.

I mix and match.
Getting from point A to B, I usually Skyride.
Farming, I steady flight.
Or if I want to flex a mount…I steady flight to hover.
Skyriding 100%.
I only use Static Flight for hovering in Dornogal.

It depends. Skyriding is fine for long distances, and if you start from elevation and go somewhere on a lower elevation. On long, mostly flat trips, skyriding just is bad if you aren’t completely paying attention to the controls and end up angling up to the point you aren’t regenerating vigor. Also bad if you need to ascend higher than 6 vigor dots will net you (instant recharges aren’t guaranteed). For situations where you need fine control, like the pipe patching in Gundargaz, skyriding is awful. I mostly tend to use regular flight, and swap if and only if I’m traveling a long way.
Fast is my own pace.

Primarily skyriding for me, but I will use normal flight if I need to slow down and look for something or if I’m gathering.

I mostly slow fly. Fast to get across a zone if speed is needed.
Biggest downside to fast is you can’t look at a map to ensure you’re on course and can’t really view points of interest like ore, herbs, fish or pets.

Skyriding is useful at times, but I’ve almost entirely reverted back to using regular flying.
