Hopefully Blizz does the right thing and informs the players of their intentions.

I’m very much with you on this. I just had all of my WoTLK characters forcefully moved to Cata. That wound is still fresh. Why on Earth would I waste time leveling characters that I won’t be able to play in my preferred expansion after a certain amount of time?

I’m not excited about the Classic announcements at all until they say that TBC and Wrath are permanent this time around, and that they’re adding hardcore to both. I’m not running the treadmill one more time to be funneled into Cataclysm, when that expansion is the reason why most of us wanted Classic in the first place (because it ruined the world and questing experience).

You know that iconic weapon exist in retail also right?

but is completely useless other than transmog. i dont play retail and transmog is one of the many reasons i dont like retail. which is why they need to add tbc era realms to appease the classic player base. stay in retail and just dont give any input in classic discussions please

So I should just shut up because my opinion doesn’t align with yours …mmm gotcha. That’s not how it works bud.

u dont even play the same game as i do. also u have no real reason behind ur opinion. i want a warrior in vanilla with thunderfury(which i already have) in tbc with waglaives, and a warrior in wrath with shadowmourne. sure i could get all these things in retail but it would be very unfun to do so, and would be completely useless

also im not stating any opinions, it is pure fact thousands of players need tbc era

I promise you it’s not a fact that thousands of players “need” tbc era. A fact would be stating you “need” water to survive. You’ll be okay without era and frankly you’ll be better off without it. I’m just letting you know the fact of which blizzard would lose profits creating tbc era servers. You, and your 9 other people that agree with you, will be the only people playing it for longer then 6 months and probably half of you would leave out of boredom.

ur avatar is literally a retail toon lol ur sooo out of touch. i will never play retail ever again i am subbed solely for classic

Do you even know what you’re talking about? When did you start playing the game? In WoD?

BC realms AND Wrath realms need to remain permanent. Both would flourish, and would continue to flourish just as private servers for these two expansions have the last 10 years.

You can stick with your silly little retail game, and let us stick with ours.

Well I’ve been playing since 2006 and I played vanilla, classic vanilla, classic tbc, and sod. I also was a anti-retail guy for a time. Then I kept watching everyone I played with very quickly disappear. Classic vanilla lasted longer then the other iterations but how many people did u see playing classic vanilla by the time nax was released. Because it was a ghost lands. Half way through tbc I was in one of the top guilds on my server and we had to stop raiding all together because raiders just weren’t showing up anymore and we couldn’t get new recruits because, once again, the place was dead. While I had fun for a time with both classic vanilla and tbc, it wasn’t sustainable. Yous ay you want era but it’s been proven time and time again. People get geared up and do all the basic challenges in the expansion then they get bored. You can see this not only with blizzard classic servers but also every single private server. That’s also why 99% of these private servers do seasonal now because they figured out long ago it’s the only way to keep people coming back. So no I’d rather blizzard not waste their time with era servers because it takes their focus off doing things for the game that actually make a difference.

Also btw I do play retail and I enjoy it thoroughly. However I understand you don’t and that’s fine. Not trying to persuade you to play retail. However if you can’t find joy in the 90 different versions of classic their currently are you won’t in era either.

I’m not even sure what you said. I understand punctuation and proper spacing may be difficult for you, so I’m going to suggest Grammarly.

Anyway, It’s no doubt private server realms are doing great, acting like they don’t is borderline mental inebriation. If retail is so good why are you over here arguing with people who prefer classic realms?

99% is an ignorant estimation as well.
Fully progressed 7x rates WotLK realm peaks at 13500 people <For the last 7 (SEVEN) YEARS
Fully progressed 1x rates WotLK realm peaks at 5500 people <For the last 7 (SEVEN) YEARS
PTE Vanilla > BC > WotLK realm peaks at 14500 people.

The demand is there and will always be there, whether you like it or not.

Haha sorry you are having a comprehension issue. Its not my fault that my education level is far superior to yours sir. However, as stated a thousand times, the evidence is there. I do find it funny how angry y’all get about something so silly. Era servers aren’t happening fellahs but hey keep wishing. For the time being, as I stated before, they already exist elsewhere.

Btw you are kind of proving my point for me. Peaking at 13.5k people is not a good sign for a game boasting 7 million + subs. That’s not even 1% of players.

No I’m not lol. Who cares what peaks are.
Highly populated realms are considered to be at 3500+ people, these realms are insanely populated. Imagine if all 31,000 people subbed (these are numbers from just ONE private server company by the way). That’s over $450,000 of monthly income.

Please source your evidence.

With improper grammar and punctuation you absolutely cannot make this statement. You sound daft and inept.

I just sourced you as my evidence you goober. I used your statement and read it back to you. That’s my evidence. I thought you were the one with amazing comprehension skills here.
