Will there be servers that stay at Burning Crusade permanently this time, or are we just starting the path that led the first Classic to Cataclysm again?
I really hope, Blizzard, that Anniversary shows you recognize that lots of people genuinely wanted Burning Crusade.
Yeah ideally, TBC servers should have their own framework and start at level 1 after this next run. The 1-70 experience is really fun and should have its own servers that don’t run alongside a PTE realm

yeah we thought they listened to the player base, but alas they seem to think we like Cata and Mop somehow.
I want to boost and keep this post going. I would prefer TBC Classic forever over vanilla classic forever. Please blizzard make a TBC server and leave it there forever. Imo that was the very last true classic server because after that they removed Olde Naxx and added diminishing returns which killed some fun niche class builds like tank rogue and tank shaman
a whole army flocking to the forums now to remind Blizzard they wanted TBC all along…
sad when they don’t know their own player base but instead listen to the vocal minority that always sit on the forums with no life.
Just adding to please keep the TBC servers permanent with this iteration. Just like people love Classic era, we have many of us that just want the same thing with BC. Wrath as well for the big 3.
I think its awesome they sorta hit a few birds with one stone with this update, very pleased about it and that they are reading what the community wants. Hope they see that we want it to stay permanent too =)
I still wish that if we had WotLK era servers, they would retain original Naxxramas in the same way that they kept original Onyxia when they reintroduced her with a revamped version in WotLK. A toggle option between the two versions. Though, as I understand it, it apparently would be much more difficult or more time-consuming to do since it’s a much larger raid in terms of bosses and loot tables and whatnot? And I use the word “understand” very lightly as the technical aspects of pulling off such a feat completely elude me.

I wouldn’t expect anything less at this point. They milk players for all they are worth. Comments were off on the stream so they couldn’t see the actual disappointment from us.

im not gonna do this again lol. i got bored in og sod and sod plus like 5 to 10 lvls in.
i rather just keep going on era tbh. i like the initial “everyones at the startin zone” but that wears off quick.
not sure why they wont do era’s for these expacs…soon they’re gonna really wear vanilla thin and ppl arent gonna care. the call for it was way less than it was before but makes sense when they rotated vanilla abt 5 times since 2019.
Hopefully, wish they would just give us a fresh TBC server now.

Come on Blizzard, we obviously know you read the forums. Please just answer if TBC will be permanent? There are so many of us that will not level through that all again only to be forced to Wrath or worse.

been doing research for the past day trying to find a SOLID answer on whether TBC classic will be permanent.
I personally would love for TBC classic (this time) to STOP at the last phase of TBC. Just TBC era permanent.
