People have been asking for TBC, Wrath servers.
They come and go.
I don’t see anyone taking up pitch forks to keep Cata going. Maybe MoP; a few, same with maybe legion, WoD…
I guess there’s a preference for every version of the game with enough people to fll each void now, is there?
cata had 1 good PvP season before pve gear(trinkets) and orange text items ruin the game
MoP has been talked about by big pvp players/streamers/etc since the creation of it (season 14/15)
I consider seasonal servers a waste of time. Why would I waste 4-6 months leveling a toon and then it all starts over again? Give me a TBC era and I will happily plod through Outland for the rest of my days.

I mean I get your point, sort of. I absolutely doubt there would be more then a couple of thousand players, at the very most, that would just play tbc for longer then a couple of years. Even that long I’d imagine would be a stretch. I also don’t think y’all realize how much profit blizzard needs to see from a product to justify the effort. To dedicate physical servers, security, data, etc… to solely tbc servers would have to make enough profit for them to justify their means. Outside of 6 months to a year I just can’t see it. I mean look at classic now. People get super hyped for every single iteration of classic then after a couple of weeks they start tapering off. Before long that massive number they started has dwindled down to a few hundred. Besides if y’all want a classic tbc I mean it already exist and it’s free. Same with classic “insert any expansion”. Tons of private servers our there and all of them, that have been up for years have less then 500-800 players on any server…which should be an inclination of why blizzard doesn’t waste their time.
Private servers are not an option. Just try going on one of those… they implode weeks after release because no decent person can stand how toxic those unmoderated players are. The absolute worst humanity has to offer.
Options there. I’d personally rather see blizzard work on actual content then wasting resources on recreating the same stale content for 30 players. I mean evidence is right here in the forums with like 10 of you supporting this idea lol.
Hardly only 10 people… but everyone else is unsubbed and is prevented from commenting because of Blizzard’s dumb forum rules. I was one of them until I resubbed to try out TWW.
Level alts, enjoy the sunsets, fishing … there’s always somewhere new to go or some race/class combo I haven’t tried … I still play Era - well mostly HC - and still love it.
And if they’d put in Watchers Fero and Morta on the forever BC realms … then I’d never leave.
tbc and wotlk had the most subscribers in wow history and will be peak wow forever there is no topping it. theres 10k raiders on classic era a 5 year old servers which is 40 man raiding… there will be more raids in tbc and wotlk and also arena. ur obviously a retail player, retail is completely dead to me i havent played since bfa. i am solely subscribed for classic so why are u trying to get in the game i play?
another fight for us classic players. keep it going guys. we want tbc era servers!

This is actually wildly incorrect and not actually verifiable. Only thing we can really go off is warcraft logs and a few other sites that monitor raid activity but if we were going to use that data you’d still see the numbers were high for the first few weeks of every classic iteration and then quickly nosedive a few weeks in. So no classic numbers aren’t the highest but it’s good it’s there to get people interested in the game, which increases revenue. However its sad that a $90 dinosaur mount made more in revenue in 1 day then classic has brought since classic vanilla.
There’s no way this is true. A lot of people don’t even raid in Classic, and there’s no separate sub for Classic. There’s really no way to know how much it brings in.

Permanent TBC Era realms, please! TBC holds a very special place in many of our hearts. You said during the Direct that you’ve heard us, now show it by breaking the silence on whether or not these realms will be permanent!
