Permanent Burning Crusade Classic

They won’t do this.

They already said this.

Because permanent era servers flopped, there is always an initial interest in this but these servers always end up dead.

They will just continue to do seasonal servers

Obviously these servers will end up as an Era. What other option is there? To run side by side with the other progression servers? Even those will end at some point. What is their future? To catch and merge with Retail?

I guess that’s possible. But having two sets of progression servers would be really weird. So the question is where these anniversary servers will stop. I’m guessing Wrath. It was the end of the original world, so it’s fitting. Even long-term there’s plenty of people to support 1 pvp and 1 pve server.

… and one HC server!

they never said the wouldn’t do this??? and ur wrong era servers initially flopped yeah but over time a community grew on them and they had a solid 10k active raiders for years on NA alone. tbc and wrath era would have similar numbers if not even more than vanilla

They did say they wouldn’t do it.

It flipped in every way, y’all have 4,000 logs this report and over half of them are alts.

You guys can cope all you want permanent era servers flopped then and now

I just want permanent Vanilla, BC and Wrath servers that we can move characters around to once we’re done progressing through each expansion.

I mean a bunch of people play them even while they compete with fresh , hardcore , sod , and cata , I wouldn’t really say that’s a flop , lotta active guilds , raiders and levelers , I only play on era at this point because it’s the only permanent version of classic where our time invested will be respected and without classic era I would unsub permanently , it’s the only reason why I sub … era servers

I’m not sure about moving between them. Wouldn’t the later ones just cannibalize the earlier ones if that was the case? Most people aren’t going to level through Vanilla just to transfer to TBC, then do the same just to transfer to Wrath. They’ll just level in Wrath. I think if there’s going to be an Era of each that they need to be kept separate.

And also…not sure how difficult it would be for Blizzard to integrate characters from one expansion to the other. Have they ever done that? Originally they cloned the servers and they just progressed. They never let you transfer characters from one version to another. I know SoM ended up in Era, but that’s different. They use the same client. Each expansion will have their own.

Nah because I want to do this in order to experience those expansions on more than just one character and class. And I don’t want to just solo old raids as a level 80 in Wrath, if that was the case I’d just do that in retail.

And how does having them separate prevent you from doing that?

??? I thought I already explained that

they say they wouldn’t do it last time we left tbc nothing about this time. since last time classic era had a huge resurgence and got up to 11k active raiders where the population stayed at untill anniversary servers came out. if they sell clones from anniversary to era. then classic era will prob exceed 11k active raiders after tbc has been out for a little bit. tbc and wrath era servers will attract about the same amount of people as classic era if not even more

i personally want tbc era and wrath era built into the classic era client. if sod/classic+ is done right they will need to port over some tbc and wrath stuff anyways.

So you’re going to stay subbed and continue to ask for permanent Era servers? So they’re still getting your sub.

Unsub and list lack of Era of those expansions as your reason. If enough people did it…maybe it’ll get their attention. These threads mean nothing to them.

Meh. I might actually unsub if I knew something would change. But it won’t

So I can stay subbed and not have permanent wrath classic. Or I can unsub and not have permanent wrath classic. I take the stay subbed option. And if I sit here, I can continue complaining about it to.

I wish More and more every day that a different company made wow. A company that actually listens to consumer feedback.
