im all for everyone being able to get the mage tower weapons easily. some awesome art that should be used everywhere. like the DH fire glaives or the blood DK greatsword
Yeah I’ve got no issue with them keeping to their word on challenge mode and AOTC rewards. They should allow people the prestige of having those now unobtainable items and not smudge it by giving extra periods to acquire it. Fwiw I missed MoP entirely so I don’t have them either so that’s not why I’m saying this.

Unless you count gluing yourself to the nearest shaman with symbiosis as prestigious.

Some peeps want 'em for looks/aesthetic, or because it happens to be a favorite animal.
Like I said earlier or elsewhere - can’t remember unfortunately - I’d like to see more peeps rock the wolf.
Idk sounds like reverse psychology to me. “They’re bad items and that’s why I should have another chance to get them” is how this has all come across to me. 
That would be fair if I didn’t have the wolf.
But I’m talking from a place where I went and did the content, got the mangy mutt, and wanna see it with more peeps.

Yeah I’m on the other end of that spectrum and never played MoP but wouldn’t want access to those rewards now because I feel I would be cheapening things for others.

Why? Just get one of the many, many recolors. They look identical except for all the things that aren’t the same.

Some MT appearances are rather unique, so I can get why people want them.
Like the enh shaman offhand appearance. No other weapon in the game fulfills the cain and abel instinct quite like it.

They’re not going to bring them back because a portion of the player base would revolt.
Now… should they have been removed in the first place? No. Don’t think so. I feel it would have been a far better approach to make this, the WoD weapons, the cloak, Mage Tower etc evergreen. During content lulls in a game, having old bits of content I can get interested in that still are challenging is excellent. And its far more valuable than FOMO.
That is true, if you dont have it you want it… i know i wanted the love rocket, and it took me 14 years to get it, but once i got it, its meh
