A big THANK YOU to Blizzard for staying true to your word all these years later regarding the CM rewards and AotC mounts. There are SO many new exciting rewards being added for this event and I for one can’t wait to take part! It’s nice to be both proud of past accomplishments without having them devalued for me as well as still finding new and exciting things to take part in currently. You’ve earned my sub for yet another few months/years with all these wins!

as someone who got the legendary cape, yulon as an ele shaman as well as challenge mode armor, id much like to have the chance to get the paladin set that i originally wanted but wasnt leveled at the time, as well as the korkron wolf again for my other account i didnt play at the time due to time constraints those years.
it affects no one by blizz bringing these items back into the mix as rewards. the terrible expac that is known as MoP has been out for over a decade. get over your exclusivity.

but theyre right, people only care about the challenge mode sets because they dont have them. It’s not trolling to have a differing opinion.

I mean, people only ever yearn for things they don’t have because… why would you yearn for something you DO have?
But it’s not true that people “only” want them for the sake of having them, or only care because they don’t have them. There’s plenty of people who DO have them who care plenty about the issue one way or the other.
The only reason people say things like “People only want them because they want what I have” or similar is to create a straw man to try and devalue their argument. And it’s foolish.
EDIT: Oh, and if you only want things you don’t have then I’ll happily take your car

Nah. I absolutely adore the Druid CM set. But I wasn’t progressing back then and couldn’t get into a group that could do the CMs. I die a little inside every time I see someone with the set because it’s gorgeous. And that has nothing to do with scarcity.
But…
I also understand I didn’t earn it and I’m happy for those who did.
What I want is a recolor of it— glowy bits and all. Like black and purple or something.

Youre just showing your true colours. Id be happy for them to bring it back but youre being very envious about this entire thing.
More assumptions. I actually support time limited items staying unavailable.

Guess this is what happens when your entire life revolves around being a troll on the forums. I am now remembering why I stopped coming onto here.
Except it being put in the same section as the AoTC and 2k mount for ‘going away with Shadowlands’.
Does this mean KSM mounts are free game to return too?

Hard to have a conversation when youre only defensive and condescending. Its like trying to talk with a wall which is entirely pointless.
Fair enough, I concede the blanket statement was a poor way to push the point, but the people losing their minds right now over the challenge mode sets not actually coming back – when there was no evidence for their return – are pretty much just screaming out in envy.
