they’ll be making plenty of “bg queues are too long” and “my server is dead and i cannot earn honor we need server mergers” threads soon.
People may not have known, now they do, and they have a solution. Reroll PVE or transfer when they open up transfers. Or wait it out. Or don’t play. What’s left to discuss?
Yup cant camp outside a city as stealth trying to pick people without a raid of 10 popping up behind you every 20 seconds. And then when you die 20 hunters and warlocks come out of town running around waiting for you to respawn and stealth for 5 minutes even though you give them 0 honour.
Its pretty bad at some points of the day, on the road to BRM from Kargath before midnight its just a constant line of horde going back and forth from BRM to Kargath, then there’s the 5-10 man pvp groups in between them as well, you can get a kill but your pretty much committing suicide. And lets not even mention the 10 rogues constantly at the top of Dire Maul ramp. I wont even get started on the walk from Thorium Point to BRM, Horde everywhere 70% of them are mages you open on one he just iceblocks and a team of 20 spill out the mountain. No point in trying to pvp west of the bridge.
Hey Crunchy!
Alliance still wreck though, you guys regularly attack our main cities and take control of zones. Plaguelands was held by alliance for like 5 hours yesterday.
Since i’m solo 90% of the time I was corpse camped by full groups all day. Basically just rezz bombing people on 2 minute timers. Still had a blast.
They can assemble a guild of their own to gank horde back… because that’s the point of having two factions. If you are even capable of feeling like a victim on a PvP server, then you are definitely playing the wrong game.
Do you know what doesn’t happen on a PvE server? – any of that. That’s where they needed to be and they need to own their own decisions.
Yep. That’s why you think about things before you do them.
“Cater to me for free because I don’t really like the game that much to begin with.”
ok boomer!
You’re right.
But unfortunately many people irrationally would rather see less people play the game than come up with reasonable solution to the problem. There is little to no upside for anyone if less people play the game.
Your right. I should have rolled PVE. I would have rolled PVE if I knew this was going to happen. Unlike many of you, I didn’t know but that’s MY fault. I’m asking to be allowed to server transfer to PVE. If I stop playing on your server, there is one less character. If I transfer from your server, there is one less character. Same outcome.
I liked the part where he ganked someone five levels lower than him and then continues to whine about how bad he has it.
Cry me a damn river and go play PVE. It’s pretty simple.
classic pvp was created for the people who knew what is was going to be like. Multiplying that understanding, by the sheer size of classic servers that everyone who tried to log in the first day should have been a simple equation for anyone who didn’t sleep through math class to have solved.
Retail players are victims of their own making. The candy crush world they are familiar with doesn’t exist in classic.
Get busy living or get busy dying…or go back to the safe space of retail.
This is not a addictive drug. The solution to what ails players is within their own grasp. The gold is make believe. If you think it is so real that you cant separate yourself from it, then it has become your Precious
@Runsonbeans Yeah I’m horde but still continue to get ganked everytime I come across a level 60 alliance player. You don’t see me crying. Literally every time I am alone and come across a level 60 alliance player they kill me. I am not even level 60 yet on my horde character but I’m not gonna whine about it to try and have Blizzard change the rules. I realize it’s a part of the game. If I had a problem with it I’d just roll PVE like you or anyone else who is butthurt about it should be doing.
I agree. Most people probably had no idea what they were getting into. Yes, they knew PvP servers are where you’re flagged 24/7 and could get killed at any moment. Even folks with experience on PvP servers in Vanilla likely had little idea what Classic would be like.
It was all theoretical knowledge, remembering past experiences, and “research”. It wasn’t until things actually happened that people were able to -experience- the reality of current Classic PvP servers.
Perhaps a group of players truly understood what it would be like, but it’s a fair bet that reality has been greatly different than pre-launch and pre-P2 expectations for the majority of players. Let the folks transfer to a PvE server if they want. It won’t make a lick of difference to their old PvP server and may serve to keep the player happy enough to keep playing.
Signed,
A Vanilla PvP server player who knew well enough to roll on a PvE server this time.
Ahhh another irrelevant post. Populations were not posted on launch and they have fluctuated drastically since then. Not only that but no one knew the realm capacities at launch… You think it’s just a problem for snowflakes of the losing faction, but on my server’s discord there are plenty of horde players complaining about how it’s not fun because there aren’t enough ally. They also beg for 1v1’s because going in 5v1 20v5 etc is not fun for them!
Quitting is the better option, leveling is not fun, i’d rather play skyrim for the 100th time. The consequences of this are pvp servers turning into horde pve servers and no one playing in a few months.
facts. now give me paid transfers blizz 50$ ill gladly buy 3
It’s just a game. Don’t be so upset about it all.
They’ll eventually turn on server transfers if BGs don’t work. Easy money Activision won’t turn down.
If factions were balanced it would be fine the way it is. There would be a back and forth of epic world pvp battles instead of one faction just stomping the other into the ground over and over to the point they can’t enjoy the game. Faction based queues are needed ASAP. I know as a Horde you like the current situation, but you should never have been allowed to have those sorts of overwhelming numbers in the first place. Literally the only reason you are making this argument is because you like having easy mode.
Blizzard literally rereleased a game that previously existed. Anyone that didn’t know what they were in for are the ones at fault.
No PvPer likes the situation on horde. You definitely don’t want to be the dominant faction, that doesn’t help you win fights, they make them rare and meaningless.
The only people who actually like being on a dominant faction are gankers who aren’t very good players.
Yeah, well, you millenials want “instant gratification” so cry me a river. I feed on your tears. I’m genX, not boomer, but you probably don’t even realize what age ranges the “boomers” are.
mumbles about a bunch of crybabies needing their pacifiers
