It makes no sense for Gyrocopters to move like that, firstly. Secondly, TBC Flight isn’t the experimental mechanic here, nor is it causing difficulties with the playerbase.
I think it’s fine to keep both types of flight but I think old flight fans are in for a surprise if they expect it to get any further changes or enhancements (e.g. speed increases). Assuming that dragonriding isn’t rejected wholesale by the playerbase, old flight is probably going to be frozen as it is for the remaining life of the game. Dragonriding, or really flight 2.0, is where development efforts will be put going forward.
Better get rid of all forms of stealth then, also if you AFK on a high hill you should be banned immediately
Regular flight WILL be added to DF it is a matter of WHEN and disabled people deserve to play the game just like you do.
“I GOT MINE, you can fly in 6-12 months, then I’ll be ok with you flying in MY game” is not a valid argument to lock an entire segment of the playerbase out of getting to play the expansion.
Hovering is just part of the equation. Again, since you don’t have a time limit or forced momentum, you have infinitely superior control over your mount. Bet camera-philes aren’t thrilled with the mount changes either!
There are no more regular flying mounts anymore, accept it! If you did spend time collecting them, sorry, they are all garbage.
Also, AFK in mid-air; why are you going AFK anywhere and wasting server resources? You should grind all the time… Faster, faster, faster… Don’t think, don’t explore, just spend money and spend time…
