I gave up answering to them too. They’re toxic and just here to troll.
Someone is really projecting now oof must’ve hurt bad, especially since you can’t even leave like you said you were lmaoo.
You can make as many assumptions as you like, but at the end of the day, you’re still just wrong, hey you’re pretty good at that
Doesn’t matter, you as an example is an outlier and purely anecdotal. I did a count of all the likes. out of the 53 people that liked the OP and the 33 that liked Wild’s post that came in second. Only 3 of those people liked Wild’s post. From this data it’s fair to assume that most people disagree with Wild if they liked the OP
today has been weird…i just left a normal dungeon with new players that had no idea where to go in SD. After them not listening and following my directions i just left. Literally a waste of time lol
You gave up replying because you obviously just can’t deal with people that don’t think “happens” is snarky lol. I’m sorry that’s the case but the word “happens” just ain’t snarky my friend. It’s alright.
Probably a wild group of stoners. You should’ve probably stayed to see how things would end. You would’ve had a nice story to tell your little childrens in the future.
I think that it boils down to Sateria being bad in dungeons and being salty about getting kicked, lol. He is trying so hard to defend being snarky in dungeons, so it makes sense.
I mean, “happens” in the context of a group of friends is perfectly fine and chill. But when you mess up in a group of strangers who aren’t your pals, and where vote kicking is a thing, saying “happens” isn’t always going to go over well. He’s either completely tone deaf or just trolling for attention.
Eh, could they have been a bit nicer while arguing? Sure. Are they are troll? Probably not, but neither of you were that nice either to be fair.
Oooh, now we’re going down the psychoanalysis route. Very nice to see this, it’s a shame it has no basis in fact though. I haven’t been kicked in a dungeon in like 3 years rofl.
This is a game where there are plenty of folks that don’t know the best ways to communicate. That in the fact that the OP might have been embarrassed by an accident they aren’t going to have the perfect sense of what EXACT word they should use. You should be more understanding.
I’m not going to nice to someone who is condescending to both me and Mistrage here when all we explained is that you can’t say “sorry” and “happens” sound the same. Wow is becoming more and more toxic. All we said is saying “sorry” goes a long way and OP probably wouldn’t have been kicked. It’s a PuG and people don’t know each other, it costs nothing to be a little more polite with people.
↑ this is the issue. I don’t care if the tank was a mawrat, should have just said “sorry bro, was accident”
Pretty much this. People who call someone “sweetheart” are almost always jerks. Don’t be nice to bullies.
Exactly
“Happens” is dismissive.
If the op had just said I’m sorry, things would have gone differently
Probably because the community acts ravenous for even the most miniscule reasons. The original post could’ve been a new player for all anyone knew and wasn’t trying to act in bad faith at all. The idea that folks know exactly what the person on the other side is trying to say is disingenuous and the warrior probably should’ve been more generous.
Ouch, so alongside “happens” the word “sweetheart” also makes you rage apparently, sometimes you just gotta grow thicker skin my friend there are a lot of words in the dictionary, you shouldn’t be taking them as personal attacks it’s an unhealthy mindset. I call people sweetheart quite a lot actually.
There was nothing ravenous coming from a lot of us here. He was dismissive in his “happens” response to a group of strangers and he got kicked. It’s just 30 minutes and he can go PVP while he waits for the deduff to run out. I’ve been kicked too for random stuff and I didn’t come to the forums to write about it. You learn from your mistakes and you move on.
“sorry all, mb” goes a long way with a good group.
At least they realized they messed up and fessed up. That takes character.
Let’s put it this way.
If person one, the person who messed up had said . Oh man I’m so sorry.
Person 2 could have replied, it happens. But that is different. Person 2 is dismissing the accident.
It’s similar to person one saying “no worries” in the same situation. They are dismissing their accident.
On the other hand if person one said again, I’m sorry.
Then person 2 could say, no worries.
I’m amazed in 2021 good manners have to be explained to ppl.
Tank and rest of party might have though “happens” meant it was on purpose.
Like “happens bro, might happen again lol”
In a group with people who aren’t even max it really shouldn’t be a big deal. Not like it was a 15+
This is exactly the issue, it’s such a miniscule reason for a kick. And it is a reason why the wow community is looked so bad upon. The issue comes with the poor attitude people have towards others in pug content. Simple mistakes are met with kicks. While the original poster handled this quite poorly. So did the people in the party, they could’ve been like “hey try not to do that again please?” and instead the response was “really” followed by a kick. There is NO sense of community at all.
