People are glad to eat bugs as long as they're eating

Too late lol.

Seems more like it’s more that they don’t like seeing someone else win IMO.

There’s not enough light in the Naaru to burn this horrifying image from my mind.

Kind of a combination - people didn’t seem to mind seeing others win loot in personal loot. They just seem to flip out over seeing the winning and losing rolls, when they’re the ones who are clicking the dice.

You might not like it, but that’s what peak performance used to look like lol.

The many threads about people not trading away their loot in PL suggest otherwise.

I’ve been trying to delete the memory of those days for years, but the bourbon has only limited success in that area.

They literally weren’t, what they were doing was literally rolling upon items they were allowed and wining them. You can not ninja loot as everything has to be awarded thru rolling for and winning said item. Just because you lost doesn’t mean they “ninja looted”.

they helped kill the boss, they have as much right to the drops as you do.

I have my doubts that you know what the following words mean:

  1. Literally
  2. Ninjaing

Did OP give up and fled from their thread?

Reconstituted insect protein is not any more gross than reconstituted mechanically separated rib and joint meat.

Just gimme some ketchup. I am good either way

Just needs more ketchup

If I’m going into a PUG raid I’m going there to get gear for me. If I can roll need on stuff I’m rolling need because the game said I’m eligible for it. If I don’t win, that’s the way it goes and nobody cares. If I win yay for me and I don’t care someone lost :dracthyr_shrug:

I don’t go to a casino to make someone else rich.

Think about it this way.

Whatever their goal is to be doing that content, you can 100% assume it wasn’t to carry and gear you. Maybe they’re running for gold. Maybe they’re helping a friend. Maybe they’re collecting mog. Whatever it is, it’s not to gear your toon.

At the end of the day, you both contribute to the group, you both get equal rights to the drops.

i roll need on gear because I need for transmog or gold. Problem?

In the PUG world, everyone is in for themselves, with a few exceptions here and there.

I go into PUG groups accepting I am filling my vault and if I win anything, then that’s a nice bonus.

That’s the right way to look at it, I think. =)

The system does not allow need rolls on items your class cannot equip.

Anyone reading someone making the claims that someone rolled need on an item their character cannot equip should be skeptical unless proof is provided. The system does not allow players to roll need on items they cannot equip.

I would guess it’s not that they are clicking dice, it’s the knowledge the players rolling against them clicked the dice. Getting loot under PL does not imply any intent from the winner. There are any number of reasons the person could be in that LFR that has nothing to do with that specific item.

But if that player has to take an action which declares intent for the item, the plausible deniability of the game giving me that item independent of why I’m there is gone. I’ve declared I want a chance at that item which would necessarily mean you don’t get it. That makes it more personal than when an emotionless computer gives me the item.

Crickets are delicious

They might want it for tmog, or because they are stat tweaking or want to try a different build. If they can roll on it, they can roll on it.
I dont need anything from LFR but I still run it because some of the tmogs are nice. You cant need roll on something you already have but with a higher item level - so if its letting them need roll, they could need it for a variety of reasons.
