People are glad to eat bugs as long as they're eating

This right here just solidifies that you are a miserable person and were most likely the problem in this situation. Referring to people with that genetic condition in a negative way is abhorrent, vulgar and utterly despicable. I have also flagged the post and hope others do. ANY person who would make fun of or use people with downs syndrome as a slur or insult are pretty much the lowest common denominator of person.

Because this is exactly how personal loot worked behind the scenes from MoP through Shadowlands. Everyone rolled and the top 4-5 highest rollers were given loot. Whether they needed it or not.

Thank you for pointing out that comment. I missed it scrolling through but I’m glad it’s flagged now.

bugs can actually be quite tasty if you cook them right.

People like you are part of the problem.

To the OP, Welcome to the new age in society. Where you can care about pronouns but not about being respectfel to fellow players… Well unless it has to do with their pronouns and stuff…

Fun times to be alive in, gonna be fun to watch this car crash!

Yes he said he wants them to funnel him gear… Thats what he said, we can even go back and see thats what he said… Oh wait no he didin’t, another tool putting words into someones mouth so they can make a fake argument about something.

He wasnt wanting all the loot for him, He wants those that should not be rolling to roll. Its a simple thing really. Go ahead and put more words into peoples mouths though, thats all you have really.

You and OP seem like peas in a pod. Glad you found each other.

That’s not what ninja looting refers to.

That term is from older MMOs where people could, quite literally, just loot defeated mobs after the kill without any sort of restrictions or mechanisms in place to prevent it (even temporarily). Typically you’d wait for the raid leader to distribute loot or call for in-game /rolls before you had permission to snag what you won.

The rolls for need/greed in WoW are specifically preventing this from occurring.

Semantics, yes, but still: its not the right term and it triggers my nerd ocd.

Maybe people like you should learn to actually read what I said instead of filling in the blanks with assumptions which are invariably wrong that goes for the pally as well.

Not going to take the time to correct all your misinterpretations either.

Has ad hominem ever led to a better result in an argument for you?

Feel like “correcting” just one? Or am I supposed to just assume you’re correct about some misunderstanding I have like I’m supposed to assume you know for sure how people feel about each loot system based on when they started playing?

There you go assuming again. What result do you think I was hoping to achieve?

He actually did. He said theres no point in going to a raid when you have to roll against other people…thus the only point in going to a raid is when you have no competition = all gear to you

really you think there is nothing between no competition and competition for every piece from everyone else eligible to roll ?

Either score karma with the people who agree with you or feel better that you got the last word regardless how flimsy your argument might be.

wrong on both counts - you and I don’t think alike so what makes you think you can make assumptions about anything I say.

Oh no i absolutely do. I pass on gear all the time in raids. Well in LFR. But im also not a sore loser when i lose in a perfectly fair scenario

They are entitled to roll on it though. They participated in the kill and they were eligible according to the loot rules. Blizz has made it very clear who they think should be able to hit need for anything.

And in his very next post he referred to the OP as ‘he’. The dreaded pronoun.

Prior to my last response, I made no assumptions about your motivations. I responded to what you actually put on the page. You made a whole bunch of assumptions about the kind of person and player I am and revolved your arguments on that. If you want to return to the points I made to discuss what I may be wrong about, by all means let’s do so. But your rebuttal to a reply I made to your post in which I addressed every line you typed was:

Not pronouns!!
