I would say that the population of repeat key buyers are a very low percentage.
Tbh I think people are being afraid for zero reason. If the ban waves were that bad, people would be on here talking about it. D/Cing is also probably tracked, so if people think they can constantly leave keys they bricked by just DCing and thinking they’re in the clear to do so for any fresh key that gets 3 deaths, they aren’t.
Aren’t most forum issues?
For real. Anthropomorphic canines with apparent disposable income.
We so far have one example of someone claiming they were suspended for incidental abandoning of groups over the course of their regular “14 hour M+ sessions.”
But I’m finding that person less than credible and very hard to sympathize with given their attitude.
Yeah exactly lmao. Like seriously, unless you’re abandoning 70-80% of your runs with fake D/Cs or just leaving, you’ll be fine. Well, unless you are doing that, then be afraid. Be very afraid. So happy those people are getting consequences for their actions.
Yeah I’m not convinced the false positives will be very common. They know what they were looking for and it’s not the guy that left 20 keys in an entire season.
Most players are capable of having 0 quits that even meet the criteria they were looking at.
Can’t be afraid to leave keys if i don’t participate in their very not good system.
Exactly. You said the whole thing right there. Slap that quote in a blizzard forum post.
I genuinely can’t be afraid to leave keys even though I’m participating. If Blizz wants to suspend me over the rate that I leave keys then this isn’t the game for me anyhow.
But when I join a key I’m in it for the long haul in most situations. It has to be very bad for me to leave. Like not just not timing it, I have to feel that the group has a good chance to not complete at all.
“you leave first!”
“no u!”
“NO U!”
“screw it i’ll keep playing bad and farm reports on the hate it’ll bring”
Unfortunately this is the community we have and that still isn’t a Blizzard caused problem. If this ends up being a thing we have only our own lack of impulse and emotion control to blame for it.
I can foresee a situation where it becomes common to just report everyone in the group when you fail a key.
Hopefully that turns in to people who make repeated false reports being actioned though. Might be a way of killing two birds with one stone in the long run.
Nobody is afraid to leave keys. Not sure why people are spreading conspiracy theories.
But people are afraid to leave keys when the leader ninja logs is the issue.
Those people are tormenting themselves for no reason. This is a problem solved by building a bridge and getting over it.
People will get over it eventually once they realize that leaving a mythic because the tank ninja D/Ced to brick a key is not going to get them banned. The tank is the one who will get tracked because they’re probably doing it consistently.
I heard a Pug M+ group died of starvation, too frightened to leave the group.
RIP
It’s because I dc’d and they were too afraid to leave the group. It me. I’m the problem it me.
I reported the missing people but unfortunately rescue attempts were delayed and arrived too late due to false reports.
On today’s episode of things that didn’t happen.
Or rather I can believe someone rage quits/fake DC’s their own key or in a group someone else is in (either due to legit rage or embarassment/fear of being ridiculed for being a left of bell curve), but nobody is sitting there typing out “do we all consent to leaving the key unequivocally” like it’s some kind of gotcha around “da rules”.
If you have legit fear you’re on the radar to be banned then, quite simply, you are a problem in the first place and probably should go back and/or stay in delves and leave the populace alone. The 99.99% of players doing keys and playing the game normally, which very much stands to reason that there will be bad keys/groups that warrant being abandoned, aren’t afraid.
No one is being banned for leaving bad keys. Full stop.
