Yep. People don’t want to see the mass of unintended consequences that comes with Blizzard being able to “balance gear” and therefore the entirety of the game how they see fit.

The WOTLK dungeons and raids ARE super accessible. WAY more than TBC. The changes announced won’t change that.
They are super easy. They added dual spec so we will have more tank and healers. DKs will also be tanks. Accessibility is already part of thr WOTLKC experience, even with these changes

Again, someone acting as if we’re not getting Northrend, we’re not getting Ulduar, ICC, TOC, UK, Old Kingdom, Class designs, updated professions, etc. etc. Yes, WOTLKC will be different from the OG, like Vanilla was, and like TBC was. But the core foundations of what made it great will still be there.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, but the parts are still necessary to attain the sum. Removing parts will lead you to a different sum.

Literally no reason to rewire the core systems that helped make Wrath such a good expansion. The retail team already helped drive the current game into the mud, I’m not interested in seeing how they can spin Classic off the rails

Far as I am concerned it’s already ruined for sure. This is NOT what I signed up for… I could care less about the anti RDF crowd they can all go play Vanilla forever. Funny how when Blizzard changes something that you don’t like though how the perspective changes so easy. Like I said I can handle a few tweaks and QoL stuff but this is NOT Wrath Classic. If I was a Warrior I would be frelling furious. Even the anti boosting changes have broke the game and were implemented poorly. Again I can show you outdoor mobs not behaving correctly at all as a consequence to some of these purely for Blizzard profit changes. Funny now lots of RMT back out in the open world too where they largely effect the leveling\grinding rep population.
I want absolutely nothing to do with this company moving forward. Even Diablo 4 is being ruined as we speak. Do I even need to mention Immortal? Just more time wasted and while I enjoy WoW as a game the community and company are just disgusting. I don’t ever want to come back now and all I can think about logging on is “You think you want to, but really you don’t…”
And it’s so true… This company is essentially Electronic Arts now. As in no matter what they do or say it will fail. As an investor I would get out while you can. You log in and all you see is frelling spam and harassment and nobody at Blizzard even cares. All this nonsense about socialization and immersion blah blah blah ALL of it is hogwash. They just want to sell boosts and they don’t want to pay for RDF servers. PERIOD.

a queuing interface that didn’t exist until the last content patch no less. I get that it was out for half the lifespan so people were used to it, but WOTLK was amazing without it, because the rest of the game was awesome. WOTLK didn’t only become a good expansion when they dropped RDF

The issue isn’t the content itself, but rather all the gatekeeping players denying other players groups because they play the “wrong” class or spec.

I know some people are doing that. But a lot of people aren’t. A lot of people don’t even know what is meta or not meta. The gatekeepers will gate keep whatever system you put in. That is just how some people are.
If you took a Mt. dew, and filled half of the cup with water, the soda is ruined. That’s about what the dev team did to wotlk here. But hey if all you have is crappy watered down soda I guess that is what we drink.

This is a very good example or massive overreaction to these changes.
At worst, they dropped a few drops of water in the soda. At best, they made your soda better.

All the complaints on the forum remind me of that analogy. It’s like blizzard is holding the glass over the kitchen sink adding more water and people are screaming at them to stop ruining their soda. Then you have the other half of the people shrugging saying screw it, I’m dehydrated anyway. Just so they can be called disgusting for liking watered down soda.
