Paypal Pay in Four

Hello.

Have not been able to make purchases in the blizzard shop with PayPal and use the pay in four option

It would be advantageous to Blizzard to ensure the option is available for purchases

If it is an issue with how my PAYPAL account is set up please let me know

Pay in four, I believe, has to be allowed by whoever runs the store.

If it’s merch you’re looking at, Bizz doesn’t handle their merch store IIRC.

If it’s the in game store, there are probably some weird technical things that can go wonky with partial payments like that. Especially game time and the like, so it’s probably not worth the hassle to have something like that.

So, it’s more than likely not your account.

Where it is a digital purchase, this could be far more exploitable, one would think.

But at the same time? You could feasibly just set yourself aside the equivalent of those four payments each pay period and then purchase the expansion when you’ve got enough to pay for it comfortably. The mad rush to own is a seductive one, but it’s not going anywhere and there is still plenty of time with it as this pre-order state of affairs. Same would go if you’re eyeing to take advantage of the six or twelve month subscription packages.

And I know how old-fogey that sounds, but it is an option at least.

If you are referring to the Battlenet Shop, given the nature of the purchases I don’t know how feasible that is. That said, if you have any feedback or suggestions for the shop I’d recommend posting in the Battlenet Shop Feedback forum.

I dislike installment payment plans unless the interest is literally 0, IRL when they offer me pokerface “absolutely no hidden fees or interests!” when you’re supposed to lets say, pay one thousand and installments in 12 is 100 each period I’d raise my eyebrow at the no hidden fees or interests…

In which case, I believe Leilleath’s proposal of setting aside money for smaller purchases like these is an entirely better option then small “payday” type loans/periods/installments - you will pay more then you think you would.

Bro what are you trying to buy on the digital store that you’re needing to finance lmao

Like honestly asking, because I just don’t see why someone would need to finance a $60 purchase that is absolutely not necessary to even get immediately and can just be saved up for yourself over the coarse of a month or few
