Payment problem

Trying to pay my sons monthly wow payment but keep running into error.

Heads up!

Some payment methods can’t be used for subscription payments.

I have checked three or four times and all the information is right.

Is your son’s WoW license on this Battle.net account, Bdmxd? The WoW#1? Or is this a different Battle.net account?

It is a different wow account.

that his

Thanks. I removed it so he doesn’t get any unwanted attention.

I can see that the most recent payment failed, but I’m not seeing a reason why. You might try contacting Support directly, they should be able to provide additional info. Unfortunately, given the day, it might be a while.

Are you just trying to buy time or set up a subscription? If for a subscription, try adding a payment method to the profile, that might help.

If not, you might try just purchasing a block of time. We have 60 days of game time available in the shop. Sometimes an outright purchase will go through when an active sub is having trouble. You can also gift game time directly from, your Battle.net account using the method of payment you already have on file.

Sorry for the trouble you are having.

He wanted to get the 30-day game time, and then he wanted to do a character transfer. He is out of time, so we’re trying to get the 30-day game time to go through first.

The 30 day game time is a subscription, so depending on what type of payment method you’re using, it may not work. For example, some pre-paid credit cards won’t work with reoccurring subscriptions due to the nature of the card.

Alternatively, you can try purchasing a Block of time as Vrakthris linked to (which are set at 60 day blocks) and see if that works instead.

It is my bank card and if we do the 60 game time he won’t have enough to do a character transfer.

P.s Tomorrow I gotta do my game time and if I have to go through this same hassle it’s it’s not gonna be pretty.

Something to try might be to completely remove all payment methods and then just re-add your bank card. Nothing else.

Also, be sure to clear out your browser’s cache and then reload it to make sure it’s not just something stuck in the cache.

Keep in mind, if something is coming back as failed, it means that the bank is stating that something is amiss usually. It’s also possible that the bank is blocking the payment for one reason or another.

But hopefully clearing everything out and putting the payment method back in helps out.

He’s tried it on his computer, and I tried it on my computer, And it says the same error message. This is the same bank card that I’ve used for wow for over three years now In my bank never turned anything down yet. I’ve got a son that lives across town, and sometimes I’ve paid for his wow time, and I’ve never run into this problem until now.

Trying to add address, it gives me an error.

(An error occurred.)

Please forgive me for being redundant, but did you try as Perl suggested and just completely delete all payment methods from the account and then just re-add the card you’re trying to use? A lot of the time, that seems to be the fix that works. I get that you’ve used the same card for X number of years, but if you haven’t (because it’s not clear in your follow-up posts), please give that a shot and let us know.

OK when I go to payment method all it allows me to do is add a new payment that it. I get the address and all that put in, and then it says this.

And that’s just trying to change it not trying to buy anything.

P.s I don’t even get to the point where I enter the credit card information.

Have you tried a different payment method, Bdmxd? It sounds like our systems may be having an issue with whatever you are currently using. It may be a temporary issue based on activity or your bank’s processes. I’m not seeing anything on our end that shows a reason for the error you are getting.

The failed purchase I mentioned earlier appears to be from a few days ago, and not the current issues you are experiencing. If you do not have another payment method available maybe check with your bank and be sure that it isn’t blocking us.

I was gonna try a different credit card, but it won’t even bring that up, so I can change it now It’s going straight to this now.

OK, I know it’s on y’all’s is in now this is what it says now, and I cannot even put a credit card number in.
There are no payment methods currently attached to your Battle.net Account.

After I get through putting the address in, this is what it tells me. It’s not even giving me the opportunity to put in the credit card information.

I’ve already did that two times.

He’s got no payment method on his account right now, and it won’t allow him to add 1.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried any of this from the Blizzard launcher? I see a lot of the convo circulating around web browsers and just wanted to make sure you’re trying all your options.
