Payment Methods and Store not working

I have been trying for the last couple of hours to simply add a payment method to battle.net. Honestly, there wasn’t anything wrong with my other payment method but I wanted to switch it to a different card. First I tried to add a new card, which gave me an error, saying it was unable to do so. I then looked at the blizzard article about adding cards, and followed all their suggestions, including clearing cash, disabling any firewall, turning off all other programs etc…

None of this worked. I then followed the last suggestion, which was to delete the card I had been using then trying to add the new one. Did not work, and surprise, now I can’t even add back my original card.

I also tried to submit a ticket on the website, it’s doesn’t seem to want to go through, it’s been “submitting” for the last hour.

Some help would be nice, thanks.

Have you tried a different browser or device? If you have a mobile phone, and it’s not working, try switching to mobile data.

Thanks for the advice. Apparently something is wrong on their end. I tried on my cell phone, without wifi, and that didn’t work either. It’s now to the point where you select add payment method and it immediately says something went wrong. You don’t even get a chance to put in a credit card number.

I wanted to repost this here so that blizzard can be aware that there is a problem with the payment methods on the site. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon, as I deleted my main card, which canceled my subscription and I can’t use the store (wanted a race change).

Payments systems can have issues from time to time, but at the moment I haven’t heard of any - or seen any other reports this morning, at least…not yet.

I do see 3 failed attempts this morning for the race change. I can’t see much on the reason, but it does appear to have been from the card side of things. Have you reached out to them to ask? I’d start there.

All that said, that really shouldn’t block you from submitting a ticket. That sounds more like something blocking in your browser.

What browser do you use? I know Firefox on mobile doesn’t work for me for the forums.

I admit that particular card has caused some issues. I have had the recurring subuscription on that particular card for about 10 years, but for some reason, everytime you do the 6 month charge, my card flags it and sends me an email. However, it usually works out after I approve it. This is one of the reasons I decided to change to another card. It just won’t even let me add a card. It just says “Heads up! Something went wrong. Select another payment method or try again later”, says this before I even have get to the section where I add the actual card.

I have been having the same exact issues as well, Tried every method and it still wont work at all.

Hi! I was having the same issues as others here. When you are on the page to put in your card information at the bottom it says its either powered by braintree or adyen. Ayden was the one that I got to work for me. Not sure why this is but it is something that is worth looking into. For those having this issue still you will have to keep refreshing and getting back to the card info page to see which one you get. I thankfully only had to refresh a few times to get adyen. Upon further testing there is also microsoft and worldline.
