This mentality that people have is self inflicted when in reality it doesn’t exist due to the fact that you can play this game without spending any money (actual money excluding the monthly subscription) . Blaming the token when in fact it’s a self inflicted problem when before the token even existed people were already using illegal means and risking their whole account.

Explain to me what are you even “winning” in this game can anyone even actually “win” in an MMORPG? even before the token people were already using illegal actions to cheat and risking their account as a whole but sure say things like this.

gold doesn’t buy everything. the only people who believe p2w is alive and well in wow are people who can’t farm gold, who can’t play their specs to a decent level, and refuse to improve.

without being a booster, botting, or AH merchant prince, it is hard to keep up with these prices for enchants, potions, food, flasks. and that’s not even looking at things like the entry price to being a Lariat crafter.
in previous World First races, the top teams would spend literal billions of gold to buy BoEs and consumables. if that isn’t pay to win then idk what is.

now there’s no bad luck protection The only way to fill that gaps is to go to the auction house and pay super inflated prices.

Depends on what you consider winning.
The content I enjoy is doing some keys and some casual PvP with my friends.
Organised raiding is impossible for my time schedule which is why I’m grateful that there are people who sell raid runs. They give me a chance to get gear from content I otherwise would miss out on.
For me winning is having fun, and so far I’m having a lot of fun.

How am I proven wrong when in fact you don’t win anything at all. And also before any of this people were already creating this mindset that the game is pay to win when in fact it isn’t.
Pretty sure my flowchart describes why that is. Glossed past that though.
how? If you’re skilled you can do anything on this game without paying a dime, even the sub. You don’t win squat with gold. Gear or a carry that’s it. That’s not winning, at most it’s saving some time off the gear grind. This theory that WOW is pay to win is not only nonsense, I fear for the future kids spawned from anyone that thinks it is.
