“Patterns within Patterns” is not cumulative from reset-to-reset like the Replenishing the Reservoir and Shaping Fate quests and resets for all players after three days. Typically, with these quests, only players who completed the quest would need to pick it up again, and other players who had not would keep their completion upon reset, allowing them to turn in whenever they finished it, even if it took weeks or months. The souls quest does disappear, but it has been the only of the weeklies like this, and you have a whole week to complete it. I am putting in a report in case this is not intended behavior. If it is, it is not very alt-friendly (nor main-friendly!) and I will surely be putting a suggestion through as well.
I really hope quest reset is not intended. My alts that I take in there sporadically will be very sad.
