So, I seen there was a blue post saying they will make this bi-weekly (3 day) quest a single weekly quest. Can we get some more information about this change? Will the rep be increased? Will the amount of gear we get be increased? Here is link to original post btw.

I mean…I guess interpret that as you wish, which to me reads “more rep more rewards”.
yes, I seen that part but its vague when it comes to things like gear and flux and cyphers. That sentence alone could mean just rep like you said. I know Blizzard LOVES their time gates and I can see this as a way to make the time gate (cypher system) even more time gated.
When they said “rewards,” I assume they meant ALL the rewards.
You think they want to nerf their own timegate? It’s already timegated. If they change it, it doesn’t make sense to slow the drip.
