Oh, believe me, when my sub runs out, I won’t be back.
It’s the wait. I complete the achievement, but I still can’t fly for another 8+ months. Why not?? I saw, I quested, I opened boxes. Your hoops have been cleared, yet we’re still grounded.
I see - so if things happen in the game that people find objectionable, we should just either leave or shut up and accept it.
Another empty negative response to an issue heard from. Thanks very much for your input but I think I’ll just continue to voice my opinions and hang around because reasons.
Yes, actually. Pathfinder isn’t changing. This will be 4 expansions in a row with pathfinder, better learn to accept it or start mass unsubbing over it.
Because of Pathfinder, really?
What if there was absolutely no flying in Shadowlands? I’m down for that too.
Do you have Powers then, that you can tell what developers will or won’t do? How do you know? A fair few changes have occurred in WoW because of input by the players. Sometimes it happens quickly, sometimes it takes a while.
But enough, you have your opinion, I have mine. I’m happy to let you speak yours, just as I will continue to speak mine. And I shall now head off to play the game.
Have a nice day.
Not me, it’s fly or die
This is the killer for me. I don’t mind jumping through hoops to get something, but I want that thing when I’ve jumped through the hoops.
Pathfinder 1 needs to award flying. Make it as difficult as you wish, but flying should be achievable in the launch patch – even if only a tiny number will do it at first.
Yeah, we all do. We can all leave and changes get made with a quickness. That’s what happened when they thought they were going to remove flight, remember?
Then why are you still here, almost 4 expansions later? lol c’mon man.
As was stated in the other thread, it doesn’t work that way. The sub fee only gives access to the servers. It doesn’t let you make demands/control how the game is developed.
When one side sets their objective so far out in left field that it drags the middle to a ridiculous position, that’s not a compromise.
If I tell you I’m going to take all the money in your wallet, but then agree to take only half, that isn’t a compromise. That’s theft.
I get my main up to lvl cap each xp just incase blizz finally pulls their heads out of their rearends…but it never happens. I’m still on the fence about the next xp, I just really don’t know.
I’m still on the fence about the next xp, I just really don’t know.
You’ll be here, just like you’ll be here when your sub runs out. You’re just mad about whatever right now.
I think pathfinder is fine. The grind is easy, despite what some would absolutely love to say.
The only problem I have with it is the wait time between part one and two. It’s like dead space. By the time you finish it, you have no need to explore any longer, you’ve experienced that part of the content.
It needs to be one seemless unit, open for completion at release. No waiting for part two to arrive.
Rep grinds are simple. There are always many ways to do it, and they don’t take that much effort. If they were that bad, why would everyone have done it pretty much as soon as it was opened up?
What grinds my gears was all those FP upgrades. I realize that flying is great, but some of them if not all of them should have upgraded with the fast mounts or some other good feature like a zip line, hook shot, or fast rope climb in Zulduzar…yes I can goblin glide. The loa stuff didn’t last long enough. I’d had preferred some kind of within city limits buff.
Also, was I the only that barely if ever made use of the canoes in Kul Tiras. All these QoL upgrades prior to flight felt weak.
I don’t know, someone who plays a single toon moderately over time should get flying rather easily. Someone who plays very infrequently would not.
My personal biggest issue is the time it took for PF2 to come out, I want flying only because it is easy to level alts. If I have seen the content, I do not need to run around and explore. However, I do because I cannot wait for PF2 and want my raid toons viable.
By the time PF2 is released, you should know the map and how to avoid everything if necessary.
So, if you are an infrequent casual player I can understand how Pathfinder is annoying when a multitude of people have it ahead of you.
They just need to get rid of part 2. The time gate is the biggest piece of garbage in the game and the reason I’m not buying SL till at least the .1.5 patch.
I’m in several Warcraft communities outside of the forums also. There are a lot more people sick of the whole copy/paste PF than you’d think.
You can’t honestly say PF does not need improvements.
