Pathfinder Part 2 can still work, but it needs to change

One of those was instanced. Timeless was designed to never be able to be flyable because of the cloak req. Dino had a huge body of water between so they could just put a circle around it and call it a day.

You can’t do that with a zone like tanaan jungle.

Pathfinder just needs to be scrapped all together

Agreed, but I also think a zone like Tanaan is too big to be a no-fly zone and zones like that shouldn’t have flying restricted.

And it wasn’t. But it also wasn’t available at launch, making the idea of a part 2 necessary. Therefore part 1 alone couldnt be the only req for flying across the continent.

On that note, BfA is a different thing all together. The next area will be instanced or straight up added. I’ll agree pathfinder 1 should be enough to fly right now within kul tiras and zuldazar

True, but Tanaan was supposed to be available at launch so the ended up having Tanaan walled off with an invisible wall anyway, so we couldn’t get in even on a ground mount, so to me, it’s no different. And personally, I think areas like Tanaan should have been a separate island from the main continent to make managing things like that easier - (but the reasons it wasn’t is a whole other story LOL)

Meh it is outland before the portals destroyed it. Wouldn’t make sense to have tanaan seperated by a body of water or anything as draenor is just one big continent, beside the netherstorm, which got affected the most by the nether.

Oh no, I totally get that and understand that and agree with you. I’m saying they should have opened Tanaan up at launch as was originally intended and zones like Tanaan, Isle of Thunder, Timeless Isle, Argus, etc. should all be separate. I’m not saying Tanaan itself should have been separate. :slightly_smiling_face:

yeah…well…what one person doesnt want apparently is running off paying customers…so if they want to keep some folks subbed theyd better figure out how to keep all sides happy.

Im not concerned with the parts. No one gets flight until said date when all is finished and ready for flight. Thats not a problem except that Blizzard make it a problem.

They aint stuck.
If you want to keep PF as is…fine. you do that.
Give those of us who DONT like it the option to pay a REASONABLE amount of gold for it.
Theyre already siphoning excess gold off the market. There would be NO VALID reason to make a gold price for flight much more than it would be for MOP right now…something like 5000 per character.

That’s the thing though. We all agree that delaying pf2 is just a way to stop us right. But even if they were to let you buy it with gold, do you SERIOUSLY think it would be possible before pf2? Of course not.

Going back to what was said when pf was first announced. If you don’t do what’s required for pathfinder, you don’t need flying all that much.

How so? It came out in 7.2 during legion. Why would they release it earlier than 8.2 in bfa?

What if we just went back to a system that was objectively better called “Flying at or slightly before max level?”

Crazy, I know.

Objectively? I don’t think that word means what you think it means.

uh…well, since I never even suggested such a thing, Im really not sure what the point is.
I dont care what date it is. I just want options to buy it for gold at max level about the same time someone who did run pathfinder would finally have it.

I know you want to be pedantic, since that’s the go-to for defenders of the status quo, but yeah, sure objectively

Unless of course you want to argue that zone design being more expansive is subjective.

I think he’s spot on. Objectively NO ONE here is going to quit playing the game if we can buy flight for max level gold anymore than they did in MoP over it.

Guess that’s why they’ve been bleeding subs since Wrath eh?

now that’s disingenuous.

heh…yeah…that crap sucking content aint got anything to do with that now does it :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Im sorry…what happened again back in WoD when they tried to remove flight?
Deny reality all we want in here…NO ONE is quitting if flight is made easier rather than harder…sorry.

I guess some players are beginning to enjoy these cramped up zones where two opposing groups are sitting close enough to fling feces at the other.
I never thought Id miss the barrens.
