Pathfinder is killing WoW: Either give us flying or get rid of it

Agreed.
Naz is unbearable without flying. You can never get to rares before they’re dead, or the naga commanders because flyers always kill it before you get there.
Mechagon is only enjoyable with the anti-grav.

Some people DESPISE linear questing (all that loremaster stuff). I’ve never gotten a loremaster or pathfinder achievement, and can’t bear to slog through it.

I can see the exploration part, but linear quest crapfest needs to go.
Probably going to have to unsub because it feels like I’m a permanent second class player because I don’t like one aspect of the game.

Pathfinder is fine. The only thing they need to do is implement it a few months after release instead of a few months before the end of the expansion.

They need to move to a style like FFXIV for flying in each zone. As someone who doesn’t have the time every day to do dailies and rares etc for rep in both zones, i am forced to do what i can in 1 zone, which still isn’t everything…while i watch everyone else with tons of time, fly around. The current system isn’t even a good implementation of being able to fly. I want the 6 month mount, but I’m not gonna bother, cause i wont be able to fly for a couple months because of the time for rep that I don’t have. I know I’m not the only one, but it is like blizz didn’t even consider the group of us that are hit with this kind of handicap.

Mate, I can sympathise with you a bit, I hated doing the Naz quests but mechagon was pretty cool. Either way, it’s just a few dailies until you get to revered. It won’t take you long. Just, don’t force yourself to do the quests you don’t want to do.

How did some people get done in 2 days then?

Actually, I like Pathfinder. But one way it could be improved is to delay the unlocking of flying until a month after Pathfinder 2 goes live. That way, we wouldn’t have people getting their wings in 2 days and going around ganking everyone else. A month would be a reasonable amount of time for players who login daily to finish the rep grinds.

I’m sure some people claim they did.

Didn’t it take around a month in WoD? I remember people complaining it took too long during that expansion.

I actually saw people flying around 2 days after the patch went live. I don’t know how they did it.

If you don’t want to fly, don’t. It’s really that easy. Not everyone likes or participates in pvp at all. It took me about 2 weeks to get PF2 after 8.2 launched and I didn’t even play every day.

Just got flying. Well, there goes 90% of the reason I’m still playing. See ya next expansion I guess.

I personally have no problem with it. I think instead of splitting it in 2 parts they should just have the rest pathfinder 1 in patch x.2(example pathfinder is simply pathfinder not pathfinder 1 & 2) So at launch you get Half complete pathfinder and at patch x.1 or patch x.2 and you finish the rest of the achievement get flying. (Compared to having split into 2 different achievements.)

I guess we will find out tomorrow. The cry babies have classic… if they don’t like flying they can go there.

As of 20 Jan 2020, you cannot fire the netomatic while mounted. You must be dismounted. This means that you can bring a flying enemy, but have to be quick to target and fire the netomatic before they are out of range.

I agree with everyone in this thread, they should get rid of flying.

Then you don’t agree with everyone in this thread. In fact, I’d say you’re in the minority.

Is this an undocumented change?
