Pathfinder has proven its point

It’s not up to you to decide What’s NEEDED I know that’s hard to accept.

Both can’t exist and aren’t going to. Flying for gold is DONE.

Gold for convenience is always a ludicrous amount under modern Blizzard standards. Brutosaur AH mount, buying boosts with gold -> token, buying medallions to speed up Tanaan Diplomat, etc.

Blizzard will get you one way or another unless you force their hand.

The end of this debate was provided to you already…that you cant accept reality isnt my problem

  1. PF wasnt NEEDED
  2. Flight WASNT a problem until BLIZZARD wanted to REMOVE it then punished players who rebelled with this PF abomination.
  3. There are MORE than ONE type of player in this game…those who love grinds…and those who DONT. PF PUNISHES those who dont.
  4. BOTH CAN EXIST…PF ‘once for all’ for those who prefer that and max level and gold for those who dont.

You are the one REFUSING to accept reality Pathfinder is here to stay. So there’s nothing TO debate.

Dont remember saying a stinking thing about whether its hear to stay or not…can you QUOTE me saying any such thing? I doubt it.
As i said…

now…I’ll let you get the LAST WORD since its obvious thats whats important to some

Did you proofread that before you hit Reply?

There’s nothing to debate, but not in the way you mean it (stop making threads about Pathfinder). It’s that we should keep pushing back as customers against Blizzard’s behavior, and treat all dissent in anti-Pathfinder threads as disingenuous concern trolls and shills.

You won’t be able to buy flying in the future in the most current anymore. Gold cost is a moot point when you can sell a token you can buy with money.
Blizzard wants players to put in more effort beyond clicking a button to buy it.

You’re playing the wrong genre. There’ll always be grinds. I question why people play at all when pretty much all that’s needed to fly in PF is already gained by playing at max level.

This buy flying for gold stuff isn’t welcomed or wanted because it would cost so much it would verge on p2w. If you’re interested in unlocking features by buying tokens, find another game.

All these Pathfinder threads are nothing more than spam at this point. People have been complaining since WoD and at some point you have to accept it’s a lost cause.

what I find funny, is you think your voice is the right one. Man you must be a crappy friend IRL.

I have always experienced the content from the ground before flying unless flight was necessary like in Cata, last part of Wrath. The content is experienced by most players by reaching cap. In fact I levelled 5 characters without flight through MoP. But for repetitive content WQs, dailies, instances etc flying should be available. I HAVE seen the content questing through the zones. Then I can buy flight for the repetitive content. So at cap there can be both. There can even be a delay.

Blizzard made flying a problem. There wasn’t one before WoD. And then they chose the laziest way out, achievements instead of an engaging story. I loved Cloud Serpents. Something like this, you know.

Speculation on the cost. Blizz can make it 1g if they wanted too.

They could just as easily make it 500,000g.

If people want to buy flying that badly I say make it 5,000,000g.

The dev team was so certain that classic was the inferior version of wow compared to their MASTAPIECE BFA.

Because of all the gold inflation we had in WoD and Legion, that’s more logical than the 1g the poster above you believes would be realistic.

After experiencing the wonderful map that is Nazjatar with its masterful map design and engaging mobs, I’ve quickly turned against pathfinding. Like titanforging, it is one of those “you think you do but you don’t” blizzard enforces that serves no other purpose than their shady ones, whatever they may be. And if the excuse is warmode, Timeless Island did it better, and I didn’t even like Timeless.

The point isn’t that 1g is or isn’t logical.

It’s that it’s all fake scarcity created by Blizzard’s state-enforced monopoly on World of Warcraft (copyright law), and that enabling flight is as trivial as changing a 0 to a 1. The code’s already been written for flight, there’s no labor cost in enabling it in future expansions.

I’d rather not have flying at all, but rather than throwing a tantrum I’m ok with flying after one year with Pathfinder rather than buying it with an exorbitant amount of gold per character.

Pathfinder is a compromise

Not everyone agrees to it but its not that horrible to quit over it . All it proves that ppl are willing to make compromises both Blizzard and the playerbase.
