Flight available at max level. 2 minutes flight on an hour cooldown. Call it exhaustion debuff, mounts tired of flying in weird dead realm. :wink:

We can agree to disagree. That is no compromise. If people hate flying in the game, don’t fly. Simple as that.

no i left because of pathfinder being an obvious world quest counter. I think its asinine that i have in my inventory all these flying mounts and for whatever reason i’m not allowed to fly for no clear cut reason. Blizz does a horrible job at making this jive.

Gold was great because i could pretty much play the way i wanted to get flying.

The Classic community used to spam at least every new xpac announcement asking for legacy servers and when will that day arrive, reminding them as many times as they could.
Guess, they finally convinced Blizzard that the risk is worthwhile judging by how many people kept playing on private servers even after a decade.
I guess if the pro flying crowd insisted enough, Blizzard may change its mind. And tbh bringing the standard Flying from earlier xpacs is much more realistic than what people thought about the imposibility of legacy servers. So the spam is indeed effective if you fight hard enough they will hear you.

You might be able to sell trash to merchants in Skyrim with hogwash like that but it doesn’t work here. There is ZERO need for a compromise, or shall we just assume you’re trolling and not engage with you?

That would be nice, I mean I never could of imaged one day asking for a basic feature since Burning Crusade to be so contentious for some folks. I dunno, slower speed for war mode stuff?

Absolutely agree.
PF wasnt needed. its a cool concept as far as the ‘once for all’ thing, but it didnt need to replace the old system at all. BOTH could exist together.

I’m amazed that people still refuse to see the fact that having both would defeat the whole purpose of Pathfinder. Sometimes I wish they would add a Part 3 just to watch anti Pathfinder whiners lose their minds completely.

I agree and ironically the dev panel at blizz con talked about player agency for shadowlands. Where is the player agency when it comes how you earn flying?

This is correct because that is how Rogues were unpruned in Legion and now with upcoming shadowlands.

Rogues without poisons made no sense. Two of the three Rogue specs without Blind didn’t make sense.

And flying being gated the way it is doesn’t make sense with how the world design has “evolved”. In fact the world design since WoD has worsened and not improved. And the content out in the world has also worsened.

In patch 8.3 they are bringing back WoD styled questing where you just fill a bar. That is literally the evolution of WoW content outside of instances. No reason to ground players for such “innovatIon” which I call fisher price design.

I did the same. A friend paid the sub for me and we play together. Sure Classic has it’s problems but no flying is not one of them since I’ m not doing repetitive WQs in the same few zones killing the same mobs over and over again. Obstacles in the way are few and so are the mobs compared to retail.
I also play Lotro. No flying but great story where flying would kill immersion and great landscape. Avatars also look better.

The only way I accept Pathfinder is Loremaster only. The quests should get me to all places required for Explorer. I can wait. So the time gate is not a problem for me.

You think Blizzard would survive round 2 of WoD? Because thats exactly what will happen another mass exodus of players i guess losing 5 million in a matter of days wasnt enough for them unless of course Blizzard is actually wanting to tank WoW

I don’t see a lot of honest, good faith disagreement. There’s just “Pathfinder sucks” and the disingenuous and possibly manufactured pushback to this simple and popular sentiment.

And I am amazed that anyone could make such a joke comment.
Having both allows for different kinds of players to get stinking MODE OF TRAVEL THAT WAS MAX LEVEL AND GOLD BEFORE AND WASNT A PROBLEM UNTIL BLIZZARD MADE IT ONE…and players who were abused by this assault actually try to defend it. :roll_eyes:

It’s really not hard to comprehend. Experience the content from the ground before flying over it that’s the purpose of Pathfinder so NO there can’t be both.

Blizzard didn’t make ANYTHING a problem… lazy people did.

The joke is “WASNT A PROBLEM UNTIL BLIZZARD MADE IT ONE” And even funnier “players who were abused by this assault actually try to defend it”

  1. PF wasnt NEEDED
  2. Flight WASNT a problem until BLIZZARD wanted to REMOVE it then punished players who rebelled with this PF abomination.
  3. There are MORE than ONE type of player in this game…those who love grinds…and those who DONT. PF PUNISHES those who dont.
  4. BOTH CAN EXIST…PF ‘once for all’ for those who prefer that and max level and gold for those who dont.

Sorry but youre just flat out WRONG on this issue.
