Pathfinder has proven its point

What a person annoyed with your diatribe as a whole? Yes I am. You literally complain about it being tedious and use remarks like this one.

Literally the definition of pathfinder. Part 1 was easy, had it done in about 2 weeks from launch, feel free to take a gander at my achievements. I don’t agree with waiting a whole year however, but a reasonable amount of time is fine.

My whole issue has been with the time gate. I’ve always said pathfinder itself is fine. The time gate between parts 1 and 2 is not.

I stand by what I said. Once you do pathfinder part 1 staying on the ground has no benefit and is just tedious.

Actually they said a form of it would be and Ion was roundly booed when he mentioned it.

Why not let the form be max level?

Why not let the form be max level and main factions at rev rep?

Why not 1000’s other options?

Why MUST it be the exact same way and time gating as WoD, Legion and BFA?

You know we’re in a content drought when people start posting about pathfinder

Preach is a knight for the most part and if he wants more interviews he has to play nice, not play reasonably. You need to see behind just the words, there is motive for him to love Ion’s position.

And when he was booed he laughed. Why not wait until we know more instead of people spamming the forums now.

Was going to say exactly this. Pathfinder is a good idea but the execution is terrible.
Seems to be a trend when they “fix” problems in the game.

Thats because Ions ego is bordering on megalomania he actually believes everything he does is a success and that he is never wrong sadly hes got enough people buffaloed that are always ready to defend him no matter what happens and for your second part of that comment look back at all the times Blizzard told us “wait and see” and it ALWAYS ends up being bad for the players

Here’s another perspective. WoW means a great deal for a lot of people, either because they use it to stay in touch with guild friends or because it’s been there for them for so many years. When the game feels worse because of a recent change they will complain because they don’t want the game to become something they no longer enjoy.

It’s the people who don’t care and just leave with a “meh” who won’t bother saying anything before they go.

Oh for heavens sake.

I work 3 jobs and get to play Wow about 3 nights a week.

When I get to play, I play for 6 hours or more.

So let’s call it 20 hours a week.

In that 20 hours a week, I got BFA Pathfinder Part 1 done in 5 weeks. I got part 2 done in 12 days. Pathfinder is NOT the issue. the 10 months in-between was.

I was so done with all you malcontents who pretend that 10 months in between didn’t matter. Get your perspective straight.

And Pathfinder in BfA was FASTER than WoD. We didn’t have 3 levels of treasure achievements to obtain and other obscure “map finds” to deal with.

Pathfinder is the current pathway to flying. Change happens. What absolutely, irrevocably, undeniably stinks was the 10-month DELAY between PF1 and PF2.

Blizzard should NOT do that again.

I like working toward flying.

I don’t like it being delayed like it was.

I hope to hell Blizzard heard this.

MOST of the community is OK with Pathfinder. Blizz just needs to stop being arses about it.

I don’t really care since I’m fine with Pathfinder and everything we know so far about Shadowlands.

Also the whining people do about even the smallest things I would have laughed too.

What you are forgetting is that for every person who hates pathfinder, there is one who likes it and another who doesn’t really care either way.

I liked pathfinder, I don’t really care if I get flying or not. The only time I feel the desire to fly is if I am having a really hardcore “get this stuff done” day, or the brief window of time where others have unlocked flying but I haven’t.

I could take it or leave it as a game feature moving forward. As long as they don’t remove it from areas that currently have it, I do not care.

I’m at the point where I just don’t care anymore… if they want to do ths business as usual wait 7-10 months for part 2 unlock then I’m skipping. I’ve had enough of the waiting game. If they decide to change their tune and say I can obtain flying in 9.0 (as opposed to 9.2) then I’ll change my tune and buy in.

Thats what Watcher is counting on for people to finally give up

Win by attrition basically make flight so tediously aggravating that players will stop earning it and effectively give Blizzard what they originally planned in the beginning

Only this time they want players to give up of their own accord to which Blizzard will spin it by claiming see you really didnt want flight after all

They need to know some people HATE the way PF is right now with the rep requirements and excessive time gating.

They do know that… it’s been screamed since WoD.

Not to be rude, but yes, we should have 5 million post on the same issue. Why? Because one thread is easier to ignore than 5 million. (Not being a troll and not joking)

If that’s the hill they want to die upon then I say have at it, I’ve preached my stance over and over and never have I wavered. Enough morons are going to throw money at them no matter what I do or say and so nothing will change. Does that mean I’ll silence? No but it’s only a matter of time until I lose my final string of interest. I used to have a regular string of friends on to the point that I needed alts just to have some “me” time lol. Now it’s 2 sometimes a third comes on so I can’t even use the “my friends dragged me back” heh. I’m not mad though, I’ve gotten lots from wow FAR more than most other games short of Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas. But yes if they change their stance before SL launches I’ll give serious consideration to returning.

Exactly my point. I want to ignore you guys, I’m hoping blizzard ignores you guys before we get anima power mounts.

Gather anima power, flight time restricted to amount of anima gathered.

10 used per 5 seconds flight. Or something like aion.

Fair enough, maybe we should ask for flying to be purchased with cash. I say pay to win is the way to go sense we have everything gated anyways, I am sure you would LOVE to see this in the cash shop.
