So… to confirm… players won’t play DF because they can’t fly so instead they will play classic…
Comedy.
Honestly, probably. Get players that don’t want to play an mmorpg off retail, so the rest of us can have a fun game.

Yeah, there are a lot of silly people who want a game that’s fun, not work.
Blizzard isn’t scared off of making changes because of buzzwords. If they were, they would have caved on old flying months ago.
You keep invoking Classic and Hardcore players like we’re supposed to care what they think or are enjoying. Their relative happiness with whatever they’re doing doesn’t mean their opinions are more or less valid than anyone else’s.
I don’t necessarily disagree. That seems like a great way to circumvent the arguments over whether this is esports or not.
But I’d wager the majority of players engage in a mix of the activities - it’s been their only choice - and I doubt there is the clear business case for doing this, Or maybe there is, I don’t do focus groups.
The feedback people are putting up, despite the compelling nature of this vision, still seems too focused on keeping what’s always worked.
I know they aren’t. They try a new thing. Some very vocal players complain with their buzzwords. Blizzard ends up compromising to the detriment of the game.
Flying is no exception.
We don’t care what some players think but their opinions are valid? Ok…
I think that’s a contradiction. The first set of opinions are to the deriment of the game, the second should be allowed.
You’re disavowing your own made up excuses that you clumsily tried to tie to current events. You cannot keep up with your own BS at this point.
No, we don’t have to care what they think and their opinions are no more valid than our own. You seem to think they have some additional value because you keep bringing them up over and over and over and over and over again. You think you know why they’re happy - more grouping and PVP - and it probably has nothing to do with old flight, which Classic players have had access to for over two years now.
Still find it hilarious that they gate a much slower method of traveling around, when they have already let players fly at light speed from the start of this stupid expansion lol.
There is no flight in classic or hardcore.
This is true. I can 100% guarantee that players are not playing hardcore for flying.
Who is our? Classic and hardcore players are actually playing an mmorpg. The players that aren’t buying DF because of pathfinder aren’t interested in playing wow anyway, so why would their opinions carry any weight?
And this is why you are a valued member of the WoW community. Thank you,
Unfortunately for them, if they want to fly normal they have to put in to work. They can cried and threatened to quit to Blizzard all they want but Blizzard will not change their mind.
Its never enough sadly.
There is no logical reason at this point other than being petty IMVHO.
I mean it is quite fascinating people defending such shenanigans when they know it is wrong in terms of game design and pushing people away from the game.
Especially those with disabilities.
I wonder what you would say if they added a requirement for pvp rating of 2500? all you have to do is play.
Imagine having to grind to 2500 to be able to use PVP talents.
friend of mine who plays has only one hand. Usually she does ok but df is difficult for her. She also doesn’t like to have to rely upon someone being online to play with her in order to play things like regular questing….
I totally get it. But spells can still be binded on mouses like razer naga etc, which should make it easyer. She probbaly already uses that.
She wants to get one of the mice with a lot of buttons but the they are nearly all for right handed. she only has the left. I think i recall her saying she has seen one for left but it is super expensive for her atm.
i think razer naga could be bought for left hand also. it has 12/something buttons.
Which is why this achievement is so stupid. The entire point of Pathfinder is to make you see the world from the ground and make it to where you don’t skip anything by flying over it.
We’ve been flying for a year.
So there is zero reason to make people do this especially since the only people that want old flying over dragon riding are people with issues with dragon riding.
IF not enough players didn’t play DF the last 10+ months from launch why are the players returning that have yet not to play DF being punished?
