People have primarily talked about motion sickness when there’s options in the game to help with that. Otherwise people are too damn lazy to do anything which is why we’re having a lazy healer disease epidemic right now.
Generally Im against trolling being an actionable offense, but this thread pretty much confirms why it is.

I very much dislike the current flying in dragonflight.I can do it just fine but I cant do it for extended time periods without getting a crippling feeling in my wrists that is kind of painful for me personally.I find myself playing old content now because it uses normal flying. Being able to aim and press auto run with a few minor adjustments here and there allows me to play the game for longer without any major discomfort. I have no idea what the requirements will be to fly normally in dragonflight but i hope they are minimal and dont require alot of dragonrideing.

Ive seen a handful of people who crossed a line (on both sides to be frank).
Most just are apathetic and came to say its not a big deal. Not trolling. Not helpful. But hardly new or specific to the topic at hand

My problem with dragon flying is the acceleration. It kills my eyes. Can I do it, yes. Can I do it for more than a few minutes? No.
If they let me fly at a slow consistent speed it would be fine but the flappy game doesn’t allow that.

Cant you fly at an even angle or slightly up to slow? Tilt down as you stall, even out again
Sure, and if these posts said “playing without flight is really tedious, its going to suck to play on the ground for that long to earn flying because I don’t dragonride” then sure.
All the “it’s impossible for me to play/earn pathfinder because I can’t dragonride, the only way to do things is if I get constant taxis” is super hyperbolic.

You’ve been making great progress over time. 
I’ve played around with it a bit and have kind of figured out a way to not have the acceleration issue but it’s not a good solution.
I am slowly working on renown but I sincerely hope they lower the renown requirements (especially the little mole people… accelerating there with the ceiling makes it worse).

I’m sorry, I’m so casual I hardly play. Mostly spurts when new content comes out. I have fished pathfinder up until the new content without even trying. I don’t understand why folks don’t just have it by doing some WQ. Explored when the expac first came out. It’s just not that hard. I hardly played the cave rats and I have enough renown.
Maybe because I mostly stick to one character?

They built a world to fly in yet they still want pathfinder there…

They could’ve named it Retention Mechanic, however, pathfinding sounds a bit more adventurous to me.

These people spend more time fighting on the forums than they do actually playing the game. They keep their subs active but never get past the login screen.

What I think the major mistake the developers made with dragonflight was taking the game mechanics and replacing them completely in this expansion. The way we fly and the we craft are core elements of the game that have been the same for years, and if im being honest I love them the way they were and im not a huge fan of something being changed that im use to. Typically in old expansions the developers would add a new mechanic to the game but it was not forced upon you constantly to play. I feel that practice was the right thing to do. I also feel that practice was less work for the developers because it would require less patching to fix unforeseen issues that would arise. So in a way dragon riding was very ambitious of the developers. But imo a mistake. So giving us normal flying is great and im very happy to hear its coming just over the horizon.

It’s how successful BSing works.
But ultimately when in DF they work the design and flight together… coherently… having a ‘‘pathfinder’’ is just cheap metric gauging.

While I don’t doubt they are coming, I am not sure this will ever be a valid complaint. Personally, I hope it doesn’t get that fast, but because of that hope Blizzard will probably increase the speed.
Shadybolt and I were able to work things out. He has a better understanding of things. But you’re right. I can’t be optimistic about everyone.
There’s more to motion sickness than some realize. And those options don’t help everyone. Varying degrees and differences.
But there are also other visual issues and neurological ones.

With this I can imagine how disappointing it is to be have a bird form and only be allowed to fly and only be able to use it to flap a little over the ground.
