Didn’t notice that. I thought it comes after maintenance typically.

So any guesses on when it will be? This month, or March or later?
No chance it’s in Feb, won’t happen before the 6-month mark.

So I’m looking at the Traveler’s Log and I’m noticing something called “Final Surge.” It’s from 2/22 and runs until 2/28.
I don’t know what that is… but could be a timeframe for when the patch drops afterwards?
I agree I don’t think it’s going be February either.
Perfect. Will be done with the mushroom dude for the shadowland dilettante achievement by then.
I rather they release 11.1 earlier and take some time to fix and then release new season (raid/mplus/pvp) 1-2 weeks after. So you get sort of a prepatch like before expansion moment. Everyone gets to play test the changes to their class on old content. Then release the floodgates after.
I’m very ready for 11.1.
I seriously doubt we see it in February, my bet is March 4th.

We could see 11.1 feb 25th after the timeways event ends. That means S2 would start a week later on march 4th. This would also satisfy the 6 week ptr duration they mentioned.
However, they could also have a blank week in there and drop 11.1 on march 4th and then have S2 start a week later.
If I was to bet, it’s going to be one of those two scenarios.

Wrote an update a few posts later 
Pretty sure thats just an end of the month thing. You get it every month.
I have found other posts about it, mostly in bug reports. But it cites doing the “final surge” every month.
