thanks yeah I mainly do keys so going with radiant glory and seems to work great… but I keep reading to see what all you guys find out. Its nice to have some people that are trying to get things right apprecaite the help.
And THAT’S the problem. Maybe in PvP and raids, it could be the go-to talent, but in M+ (which is what I mainly do) it’s an instant dps loss in the long run. That’s why I took Seal of the Templar.
Also, I like Divine Resonance for outside the bursts windows when we lose our 35% increase Haste. During the “slow” times between Radiant Glory, that extra cast of Judgement gives you 2 HoPo on top of the 2 HoPo from Holy Blade, so you’re never really lacking in HoPo generation.
So far the rotation I’m doing feels good.

True dat. But the combined Talents of Crusade and Undisputed Ruling during wings, the combined Haste nearly floods us with HoPo.
Its really hard to argue with 25% FV damage in any context. I struggle to see myself ever giving that up regardless of what sims say.
Templar also has Divine Hammer tacked onto Divine Toll. I honestly have not looked to see how much damage it is doing. Quickened Invocation gives Templar twice as much DH uptime- I wonder if that’s worth it.
I think sims are good but I honestly think people rely too much on them. Sims can’t tell the whole story. But that’s just me.
That being said, 25% from Seal of the Templar combined with Jurisdiction and Holy Flame gives us an increased 40%. And when we get our Apex talents, that will be an additional 40%. So during burst windows, that gives us an 80% increase in damage, 80%, dawg. That’s comes out to approximately 630% Attack Power every swing.
That’s insane.
I would tend not to think so. If it was the OLD Divine Toll that casts every 5 seconds, it would be worth it, from the quick math in my head (take that for what you will).
so looks like we got a 11% flat dmg nerf incoming on Beta, while Survival hunters are doing 2 to 3 times more dmg then everyone lol.

You’re looking at very old notes where they removed an 11% aura buff that Ret had gotten earlier in the season so the devs could redistribute our damage without the aura buff.
It was a good thing and its done, gone, and in the past. Don’t worry about it.
So I have been playing around in keys using a 1-minute build with Templar and Seal of the Templar. I decided to try Quickened Invocation just for shiggles and I gotta say it might be a keeper.
The three button rotation can get a little stale, but having a Wake, HoL, DT combo every 30 seconds really helps give it a little bit of spice. It also feels good to get a full stack of holy power back right after dumping five into HoL.
As far as Divine Hammers- its stronger than I expected it to be. Using 30 second DT my DH on its own accounted for 8ish percent of my overall damage. Sometimes even higher depending on the dungeon and how the tank was pulling.
Sims are gonna sim, but for the time being I am keeping Quickened Invocation.

Oh, I’m have no doubt it “feels” great, probably has a good “oomph” to it. And it’s may be the preferred choice in either PvP or Raids. But for M+ like I said, it’s an instant overcap of HoPo. And our number one rule for dps loss is overcapping HoPo.

Haha- I wish I had connections. If they’re buffing DH by 30% I’m pretty sure Templar will be using QI even on single target.
I don’t know if DH still triggers Empyrian Hammers- I need to play with this more.

Only problem i see using RG/QI instead of 1 min wings and divine resonance is uptime… in pvp 1 cc takes it all away and I feel cc a lot more since the patch. I see sitting full everything on every dr too quickly.
Also people are forgetting our lights proc for BoJ… Thays a lot of gcds to go thru to get your setup for DH damage. Then u randomly have a RC proc oh nvm gotten go to that. Where 1 min i have more wing time and more time to hit light procs in pvp and pve… idk 12 secind wings every 30 seconds is fun but having that RNG for big dmg seems like 12 sec isnt long enough…
I need to play with this more.

I’m not sure of people have tested it, but the improved Divine Hammer is The Truth.
It previously did roughly 6-7% of my damage. Now, combined with Burn to Ash, Burning Crusade with wings, it’s jumped up to third place on my damage meter doing roughly 12% of my damage.

yeah i saw the lawnmower video. tested it last night. when i’m on it works great… if i’m not in range or cc’d then it sucks and i wished i had the extra divine resonance dmg.
i tweaked a 1 min build to get even burn to ash and sanctify. and have a standard 1 min and couple RG variants. (heres a hint i dont use AoW so RC is always at least 18% and up to 30% compared to AoW 15/25) plus saves me 2 talents from the AA haste.
idk just getting those light procs at max would seem wasted in a 12 second window. big time.

Divine lawnmower works pretty well. We will see how it holds out and if light within procs could hinder and could benefit from 1 min wings.
I can run the divine hammer on 1 minute with div8ne resonance with more time for LD building and wing time could be the way to go. Either 1 works well for now. Obviously 30 seconds is more fun more often but 12 sec wings window could be problematic to everything you want to get off in a wings window.
Those double hammers on top of DT+exaction at a range! And gets stronger the lower the health. Idk i want those hammer of wraths cranking plus im then spamming FV between a judge and boj for more RC proc chances ![]()
