All of them. This includes ALL of my addon setups, stuff I had spent countless hours tweaking. All of my TSM groups and operations are gone. I checked the WTF folder and the only files that exist are ones that were just generated when I launched the game.
If there is no form of backup service or a way for me to regain these configurations, you have lost another customer.
It would have been nice to know that this time-gated, already-released content would have had such an impact on user settings. But that was not included in the patch notes, which are already under inclusive.
I noticed Details seemed to have a much larger range all of a sudden, like they had unnerfed that Combat Log distance change they made back in Classic? Remember when everyone was using Spy and you could pick up on enemy players from a long way off?
Addons etc are client side. IE: If they’re not on your computer there is no way Blizzard can do anything. I don’t see why your wtf/addon file would have been wiped out but maybe you’re just looking in the wrong place?
Actually…they do. It’s the .lua.bak files. The problem is those only store the previous state of the .lua, which is updated on every /reload or relog.
Its literally on your computer so there is nothing they could do. If your hard drive suddenly corrupts your files, there’s no way they could bring back your screenshots either…
