I have some alts way down my list who aren’t yet renown 15, so I just imagine that I’ve spent playing each of those characters is a similar to the amount of time some people have had available in total to play WoW.
( but yes, it does feel odd to read nevertheless )
This was by far the easiest rep grind for alts on top of the 200, 100 % bonuses and the boa rep tokens. you could literally do the weekly on your main and pass the rep tokens from one alt to the other. The only bit of pain was the boring activity of the week, Soup, vault, dragon bane or hunt etc…
Same here, but I switched mains right around the time they released Forbidden Reach.
That’s why I’m behind a bit, plus I was upset with myself for wanting to switch after all my Priest’s reps were over 20. I quit doing anything in DF for a couple weeks because I was so mad at myself over it.
Just do world quests, do the weekly in valdrakken. Soup for tuskarr/fish turn ins. Niffen, do the questline side quests for rep plus the event. Centaurs do the hunt around the isle 3 times for all the bags.
There’s plenty of things to do to get your rep up.
You mean doing the story and yellow exclamations. There’s a lot more to the game than that, and I’m sorry they consider those so important. I am renown 1 universally on this character and I’ve only done the bare minimum on some random alt to progress to valdrakken. Why, you might ask? Because the rewards just aren’t there. I am capable of doing rep, I got all but two ARs in BfA (nightborne and kul tiran I never got around to). Those were a reward worth the extra effort.
Some dragon customization and other random things I’ll never use isn’t enough for me to put up with this storyline. There is plenty of game to play without spending time on normal yellow exclamation quests.
Not anymore, think that was taken out after cata? or was it MoP. one of the 2. Used to be able to wear a tabard and get rep with w/e faction you had on.
They should have also locked Dragongliding behind a long rep grind as well. Why do you need to work for something that others have said is inferior. While Dragonriding was given to everyone on first day?
No, no, I don’t mean the tabard. In Shadowlands, you would get these Renown coins for doing any kind of content in Shadowlands, but more, er, difficult content had a higher chance to drop them. So you could do Heroic dungeons, for example, and have a pretty good chance to get a Renown drop. But they only worked up to a point that allowed you to catch up to the previous patch’s max renown.
I’m not doing PF, personally. There was no reason to not give us gimpy flying from the start and I have 0 interest in any of the DF factions or their rewards.
