Patch about to drop and only one rep at 15 for pathfinder. Feel like giving up

So they want six reps at Level 15 for Pathfinder and I only have one. The rest I didn’t care about because I didn’t want the rewards until they dropped this pathfinder requirement for proper flight on us.

Now I am so far out and another rep to grind with the new patch.

It’s just so overwhelming I feel like throwing in the towel and giving up.

Rep should not be required for pathfinder!

And afaik, none us have the 6th rep even unlocked yet. So there is that.

This, literally. I took 9 months off, Loamm was introduced, didn’t take me long get past that 15 required,

While I agree that rep shouldn’t be required for pathfinder…you should remember that people capped rep in a few weeks after DF released, and its way easier now. So there is still time if you really want it

There shouldn’t even be a pathfinder.

Old flying is a downgrade from dragon riding, it should just be handed out for free.

I got mine on alts pretty passively after my main maxed everything except Loamm.

I’m not touching Loamm. I despise that place.

So… no Pathfinder for me. I’m fine with that.

This. Unless you just chain-run dungeons or stand around in valdrakken, I really don’t understand how anyone isn’t maxxed with all reps months ago.

Said it before I say it again, pathfinder should only be loremaster and exploration BUT

If you can’t bothered to do rep, do you need regular flying all that much?

I have like 5 crafters and they’re maxed out on all the renowns they needed for crafting at least two of them are maxed out on all renowns (druid and warrior).

I mean if you just play the game, at even a slow pace, you’d have the rep needed already. I just question what have you been doing all this time to not have them up to 15. that should take you. barely 2 weeks at this rate.

What should the requirement be, Names that begin with “E”?

I’m with you that it shouldn’t be a thing at all, but if it is, reps are fine. Unlike other pathfinders this isn’t the end of the world because you arguably have better flying with dragon flight already.

I had similar thoughts.

  1. If you aren’t out in the world doing stuff (which would give you rep), then why do you even need pathfinder?
  2. Since we can fly already (and have been able to since day 1 of this expansion) pathfinder isn’t as big a deal as in prioir expansions.

I mean the questline alone now plus a few of the side quests that give tokens will get you to 15. you don’t have to bother with any world quests down there.

The questline is done for me. I’m at renown 7. So no, you can’t get to 15 just by doing the questline.

Revered was 21k rep, Renown 15 is 37500 rep and renown 25 is 62500 rep. Renown is a scam but don’t tell anyone that.

Unless I’m mistaken, you get a LOT more rep per actions than you did under old school rep grinding.

I’m not maxxed on the centaur rep still, but I’m close. I went ahead and got my Niffen up to 15, finally.

I still was hoping they would loosen the rep requirements or remove them for others, though.
