It’s really irritating, all my guild mates and friends are logged in and playing… just character not found : (
my wife is next to me and having no issues logging in with one, hitting the barber shop, then transmog, then to the next toon, rinse and repeat…lol…she’s happy though so I have a smile…Blizz will get it soon…
I do but its 16 years since the game started lol, I am just wanting to be able to play before I have to be a responsible adult and go to sleep for work.
Having the same issue on Malfurion and Trollbane. I managed to login on one character for 5 minutes before dc’ed, and now getting “character not found” for every one of my characters for a couple hours now.
We are on attempt number 57: “Character not found”. Over an hour later, and still waiting for this to be fixed.

True and it is much more, they just cant source it. Think about all they have done for this patch. Change every active and inactive character and npc to a totally new level, change all gear, change all classes. Its a lot and many places things could go wrong. Not to mention the UI changes and etc.

Still getting character not found on multiple servers. Also cannot create new characters, getting error message “character creation timed out”.
Same error, Character not found! On all servers, Borean Tundra, Stormrage, Area 52 and Cairne.
Having the same “Character not found” on every toon on every server. even on new toons I just made.
Then PTR is useless.

Have been having the issue since first log in attempt today. Character screen is black first for a few seconds to a minute with only the buttons visible (Enter World, Change Realm, etc.) Eventually my characters appear but at about 75% of the loading bar, it stops and then I get the character not found error. Happens for every character, on every realm, low and high pop. Restarted comp, ran Bnet as admin, did scan and repair, no change.

Exactly the same experience as Zakigga on Arthas and Andorhal.
Still seeing issues.
Adding my name to the list of character not found. Really frustrating.
I understand how big the patch is, but that doesn’t change the fact that I specifically paid money for this.

The best part about this “character not found” thing is my character’s Tmog literally keeps reverting back to what I had when i COULD log in (over an hour ago), then it changes like magic to the tmog i changed it to before i got kicked (56 minutes ago), and every single time I try to log on, my Tmog flips back and forth and back and forth, from old Tmog to new Tmog and changes every time I close WoW and reopen it in hopes that something got fixed.
I would like to see a blue post addressing this issue. I can’t log in on any server with any character. All load to 90% then issue a character not found error. I logged in earlier successfully, but had to leave to do something, came back to this problem.
