Same here altar of storms. Not one of my characters can be found tried even 4 other realms I have characters on and same thing.

Okay, although I tried a couple times before, it did work this time. Disabled all addons, exited WoW, started up and entered, success. Keep at it guys!

and remove my addon and it work
Seemed to be fixed for me. Might be a coincidence, but I launched WoW from the .exe rather than from launcher.
Just did small update and it fixed it for me . I got in.
Not sure if this will help anyone. I just Alt+F4 the game at the character screen.
Open the task manager and force stop the Battlenet launcher AND another Updater that was doing nothing.
Relaunched the launcher and got in first try.
My server (and connected ones) just went offline. (Blood Furnace)
Able to log in now
issue is back sigh

This is just the pre-patch, and not full Shadowlands. We still do not have an actual release date… They know it’s not ready.

cant log into any of my toons
We are unable to log in to any characters on any of our accounts.
happening to me as well on any server I have toons on
Maybe a reinstall? idk… Really lame. Plus the allied races can’t be created. 
I was getting “character not found”, but my wife was able to log on. I am able to now log onto the game! TY TY! God bless!
